He officially began the Vietnam War.
@cortexradio Under his presidency was when the war began to escalate into the state we are all familiar with. The actual war began under the Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations. Also in the US, he was responsible for the Great Society programs that helped the poor and the Civil Rights Act which ended segregation nationwide.
he is responsible for the deaths of more then 1.3 million people in Vietnam.
