We are a family of 6 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! My husband and I were both 17 when we got married. We have been married 46 years now. We can’t imagine life without each other. We have 5 wonderful children and 12 amazing grandchildren. As long as God is the glue in a marriage…it will last forever❤

I don't think there's a perfect age to get married but really young is not ideal for many reasons. Having said that we got married at 18 in less than ideal circumstances and many predicted it wouldn't last! 52 years and 3 children later we're still here! As we wrote in the sand 54 years ago, Forever together!

met my husband at youth group when I was 14 he was 17 married one week before 18 he was 21. We have been married 53 years this year. 2 birth children fostered over 200 children and adopted 9. 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons. God has truly blessed us. Greetings from Australia.
Bless you. I married my husband the day after I graduated from high school and we were married for 57 years until he died in 2020. There is no best age to marry, only when you meet your soulmate. I'm so glad we had all those years. I was almost 18 and he was 20.
I’ve waited for 59 years to meet my marriage mate. We will be married September 7.

I was 19 when we married. My hubby was 21. We celebrate our 35th in 2 weeks! We have 8 children. So far 3 have married at 19, one was 22. Our 14th grandbaby is due in January!
I thought so too!! My daughter had just looked away, so I rewound it and said “Look! That looks just like Olivia!” My daughter said “It’s funny how that works out like that in families!”
I don’t think there’s any “right” age. Funny enough, my daughter, her friend, and I were just having this conversation last night. My daughter turned 23 on Thursday. On her birthday Vlog, (which was just the two of us having a fun shopping day), someone commented how she should be married with kids right now. She’s happily enjoying her time right now and working on her dreams and goals. We’re pretty sure God has already shown her her future husband, but she’s not yet ready…and that’s ok. Everyone has their own time. 🙏🏼💖

Bert, times were different back in the day. It wasn't easy so working hard, wanting a home and family made us stronger. Been married 50 years and still going strong. God Bless the newlyweds Elijah & Raeanna. ❤

My daughter just got married on Saturday. They are both 21 years old but have know each other since meeting at Awana camp their freshman year. They have grown so much in that time through health issues, deaths and being an hour apart. They have relied on their faith to get them through. We pray that God will bless them with many, many years of happiness.
One thing that blows my mind is how big families grow when marriages occur. When my late brother married my sister-in-law I realized that I not only got a sister but another sister, another brother, another mom, and a couple of cousins. Then my sister-in-law remarried a great guy and I ended up with another brother, another brother, and two more parents. I grew up being told that everyone who comes into family becomes part of the family. Now I have difficulty figuring out how many people are in my extended family -- and it is a great thing to have!!😄
I think that being ready to get married has to do with emotional maturity and being somewhat financially ready to make such a huge commitment. Its all quite relative. I married at 31. My daughter was 23 and so was my son in law. They both had their degrees and were both employed. The Lord has a unique plan for everyone so listen to Him and trust in His perfect timing for marriage. 😊
I'm just to the part where you're showing Elijah ad your ring bearer and oh my goodness...further proof Olivia was made for you. She looks JUST like Elijah in those early years! I shouldn't be shocked, but I always am when God shows up like that and makes His plans so obvious. Happy for the newlyweds, and thanks for sharing these special moments!
My mom was 15 and 4 days when she married my dad, 19. Their marriage lasted 64 years until the death of my father in 2021. My mom passed 7 months later but their love last through us children.

My son and daughter in law just got married this july 14th, they are both turning twenty and have been together for three year's. As a parent i was concerned for a bit, but seeing the devotion and the vows and absolute love, im convinced they will be together till the end, and i couldnt be prouder.

I was 26 and my husband 24. It was perfect for us. We were both in the military and saw the world and continued to see the world.
After 40 years together, I lost my husband last year. Life will never be the same and I will never remarry. He’s my husband and always will be until we’re together again in heaven.

My husband and i got together at 16 and 18.. we got married when our youngest was 16 and we already had our first grandson... but 30 years together! He is my best friend! I wouldn't change a thing! I have some health issues and he has been there for me 💯. I couldnt ask for a better best friend and partner in life.. not everyone can say that! Bless you all and bless this new family starting out

Not sure about the perfect age - I was 17 and my husband 19. We will celebrate 46 years in October God willing. The key is having God at the center of your marriage and commitment to one another. Those two things are what is lacking in most marriages today. (And why so many don’t make it in my opinion). Congratulations to the happy couple and God bless.

I, personally, believe that the "right time" to get married is when both sides of the relationship are ready, which is something that only they will know. Some people just happen to be ready sooner or later than others.

I was 19 and my husband 21! We are still together, after 45 years! What is right , is to be devoted to each others! They are adorable! They remind me a lot of me and my husband. We went to daycare together, reunited in high school, and got married after college. He was 18 and I was 22 when we got married. We started dating 24 years ago tomorrow actually and we've been married for over 21 years now. I think it's more about finding the right person to marry than it is about age. We both came from divorced families and we didn't want that for us so when times were hard, we worked through it all. I always said, "Don't just find someone you can live with, find someone you can't live without!!" :) Congrats to Elijah & Rae!

My Mama was 14, my Daddy was 20 when they got married. They stayed together through 28 years as a military family. They raised 4 daughters and saw each of them married and welcomed 6 grandchildren. They stayed married through thick and thin...until Death Did They Part. They left a legacy of love for our family. No age is the perfect age to marry...it's the hearts and minds that matter.
I think the biggest thing is to be equally yoked. My Ex and l definitely weren't and as much as I tried it was awful. After 23 years we divorced. I was/am a Christian, he wasn't. To hear him say, "her love for the lord." I melted!

I was 29 and my husband was 33 when we married, waiting for the right person is the best, you just have that knowing (no other way to explain it) when you find the right one. My husband and I have now been married 21 and we love each other more now then before, I have 2 sisters who got married at 21, its not the same for everyone

Honestly does really matter what age you get married. I was 36 and my husband was 37. We have a daughter who only 8 years old. So definitely older couple in that sense. But it was timing and everything that makes you wait much longer to get married or have kids. Congrats to the family. Beautiful picture. And my home state of 27 years. ❤

As to you question about age, there is no right or wrong age as long as they are consenting adults. As long as both parties are mature enough.
I was 29 when I got married. My husband and I were together 3.5 years before getting married. It’s just a matter of when you find the right person.
