Why isn't Chase there? Burrow says he needs the reps & I'm glad Burrow is getting reps with the other WRs but this is just another example of Chase not being a team player. Almost every player could benefit from vacationing in Miami/Texas & doing individualized training instead of OTAs
Tee isn't there bc Tee can't be at OTAs until he has a contract. Chase is currently under contract just like Trey... Tee is not under contract so Tee isn't allowed at OTAs

Last year was more understandable bc they went to back to back AFCCG so they had very little time off for 2 yrs straight (& losing the superbowl is way more exhausting than winning it). But Chase had plenty of downtime this year with no playoff games. Chase wants to be paid 35-40M per year but doesn't act like he's part of the team but maybe he doesn't care bc all of his contract is guaranteed

I agree. It was already predicted that the deal would cause issues as far as keeping Chase and Higgins in the future....which is now. If the Bengals truly wanted to win a Superbowl, Burrow would've took at least a 100M cut. Now I know that's unrealistic but imagine if he did? The Bengals would've beefed up even more on top of the potential rookies we have now. Just my overall opinion with some facts.

Joe Burrow is my guy but he is going to have a very difficult time once Higgins get traded as Chase is going to want his money too, however, Burrow is in a smaller market than his contemporaries in his Division, he should think about amending that contract folks!!!! I would especially considering the fact that those two commodities are quite precious and most people will align themselves with Chase, But, Tee Higgins is 6'5 folks and can catch every pass and size and he's not a slow route runner either, Wow!!!!

FYI, Browning holds the record for highest completion percentage in a QBs first 2 starts with a higher yards per pass avg than Burrow - he played better than Burrow in every aspect and didn't blame his losses on his supposed lack of an oline, despite getting a new oline every single year.

JaMarr Chase has the best wideout in the game type talent. (Wouldnt put him there currently but that could change quick). Usually you get a new deal pretty quick for top or the market salary for that in the nfl. Teams in contention usually just pony up

The norm is players play 3 years, and if they are good they are going to want a new contract or they are going to hold out unless maybe if they are a QB. Period. It isn't hard. They exercised the 5th year option on Chase, he is signed through 2025 and he has very PUBLICLY stated that he was waiting for J. Jefferson to sign his deal first. He is not holding out and is not disgruntled and he WILL get paid......these guys are bloviating about things they know nothing about....which is sad because it is all pretty public knowledge and easy to find.
They will probably not sign Tee and he will either be traded or he will walk next season. Hard to pay both with the amount WR's are commanding right now.

Also if they did their research before speaking they would know that Ja’Marr posts himself faithfully working out on his own during the whole offseason. This is not news....and it certainly isn't the big deal you are making it out to be. I look at it differently. It gives the rookies and the new FA signings some much needed reps so THEY can develop chemistry and timing. Burrow, Higgins and Chase already have it.
