I bought my Predator in '94. Many different wiring configurations tried - including stereo outs. Currently has stock pickups, with option to select neck/middle or middle/bridge in humbucker (serial) configuration.
Nice! I’m up to 3 predators, each with a different configuration. One of them is typical SSS strat with one some varient of the alnico GFS’s in them, sounds great when I just want a straight Strat sound.
nice.. these old peavey's just feel great.. great necks.. i have an old 87 Falcon.. was painted teal at the factory and then overpainted black when it chipped.. i asked Peavey about it and the serial was clearly a BLACK .. but they said sometimes they overpainted bodies.. mine has the 8 inch radius fretboard.. what to the Preds have of that era?..
The Peavy Predator isn’t allowed within 7 miles of any school
You’re mistaking it for the Pervey Predator

These guitars are awesome. A normal looking Strat with the weirdest neck profile and really flat fingerboard. It’s an awesome guitar.
Yeah, that neck is just so familiar to me at this point. I have 3 different predators, plus 4 partscasters with predator necks 🤷♂️
These guitars are great, i got a 90s used one and i filled it with gfs Little Killers rails pickups. Really screams for cheap.

The radius is actually 12”, it’s pretty darn flat. They play so great though.
I also have a Peavey Falcon that I bought in 89 or 90. White body with black pick guard. I still play it to this day.
I love that picture. Im 43 and got my first guitar in 91, im guessing we're close to the same age.
I’m 38, I’m pretty sure that picture was 1993, I had been playing about a year at that point.
Man, that's awesome.
Thanks!
