It reminds me of the English man who got skunked. He asked us to keep it a secret. We said "Nothing will we say, no one will hear a word from us, because we don't think sound is the issue."
Ok, I know he's American and all, but how the hell could he not know what a nettle is? Seriously, do they honestly not have ANY nettles in America? Weird... And it's proof of how funny Des Bishop is that he could make something as mundane as a nettle sting absolutely hilarious xD
@Siveywiveyx Technically they do have nettles in America but they are a much milder variety that barely sting if at all. At least here in California anyway. The gold miners used to eat them. They are far less common and are usually very small. The average Californian has no idea what a nettle is as they rarely have ever seen them.
Probably the best non-native Wexford accent impression I've ever heard.
Perfect.
XD Good stuff. 'Just get a dock leaf' definitely went through my mind when you said 'what do I do?'.
I love the way he refers to nettles as "..those fuckin' things"
This is so funny, also, the suit and sneakers combo is a really good look for you.

@Siveywiveyx Nope, no nettles in New York.
However I saw 12 foot Nettles on a California golf course.
My thought was get ground-ivy. But dock leaf is also possible, but it’s not so good as ground-ivy.
You are great Des.
Would you have a tip on being a stand up?
@Siveywiveyx no, we haven't any nettles in north america. at least not here in new york
@SuperMichaelrussell It's a better Wexford accent than some folk from Wexford have! :)
I love that man. He's my hero. Complete legend. Brillient Wexico accent as well.
Where abouts in Wexford did Des Bishop live?

As an American living in Ireland...No there are no nettles in USA. And yeah the first time I met a nettle was quite the shock!
Hilarious!!!
