Coconut Oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) - 3+1 Tablespoons
Cinnamon Stick (കറുവപ്പട്ട) - 3 Inch Piece
Cardamom (ഏലക്ക) - 5 Nos
Clove (ഗ്രാമ്പൂ) - 6 Nos
Ginger (ഇഞ്ചി) - 1 Inch Piece
Garlic (വെളുത്തുള്ളി) - 6 Cloves
Green Chilli (പച്ചമുളക്) - 5 Nos
Onion (സവോള) - 1 No (125 gm)
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - ½ + ¾ Teaspoon
Chicken (ചിക്കൻ) - ½ kg
Lime / Lemon Juice (നാരങ്ങാനീര്) - ½ Tablespoon
Potato (ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങ്) - 1 No
Carrot (കാരറ്റ്)
Curry Leaves (കറിവേപ്പില) - 2+1 Sprigs
Thin coconut milk (കട്ടി കുറഞ്ഞ തേങ്ങാപ്പാൽ / രണ്ടാം പാൽ ) - 2 Cups
Crushed Pepper (ചതച്ച കുരുമുളക്) - ½ Teaspoon
Garam Masala (ഗരം മസാല) - ½ Teaspoon
Thick coconut milk (കട്ടി കൂടിയ തേങ്ങാപ്പാൽ / ഒന്നാം പാൽ) - ¾ Cup
Cashew Nut (കശുവണ്ടി) - 15 Nos (Optional)

Dear Bro,
I made this yesterday. I used some of the ingredients to marinate the chicken before cooking it - lime juice, salt, chopped chillis, pepper powder, chopped ginger & garlic. I wasn't very comfortable cooking without marination. The result was absolutely superb. Kids loved it. Wife still gave top position to your butter chicken, than this. What I really love about all your recipes, is the measure additives, especially the salt (which is the fulcrum of any dish). Thank you once again for sharing this recipe. I know ppl have been praising it got over three years and it is well deserved. As I said before, one more dish I cannot try at the Indian restaurants here, because your recipe is better, not to mention much more cost effective, especially in the current inflationary state of affairs.
Humble request bro, if possible please share Chicken Chettinad recipe. Also would love to see your version of the hugely popular Mughlai Chicken. Thank you once again for sharing these simple recipes without dramas (as Aussies would say) and still perfectly flavourful and delicious. Have a great day.

Hi, just saw your TH-cam channel today for the first time. I was planning to prepare stew for xmas breakfast . Just one doubt I haven't seen shallots been added at the final stage . For traditional stew we just add onions in the initial stage . That seemed to be something odd otherwise the preparation was awesome.
