I grew up eating beef liver and onions, we raised the beef. Also, love chicken livers, that is actually our dinner tonight. I cooked liver for my son growing up and I believe he is the only almost 30-year-old that orders liver and onions at a restaurant. His fiance won't cook it or eat it so either he eats it with us or orders it. I love the taste of all livers but I have never had pate, this is a recipe I will have to try. Thank you, Luli!

I remember my momma making beef liver and onions, the best I ever ate. What herb did you put in the pate? Have a blessed day!

Hi! This was so great! Can you show печінковий торт in the spring if you make it?

That's a great idea. I will not have fresh livers in the spring. But I have some frozen, should work well.

The problem is to buy liver like yours, the one from grocery store is very mushy and dark, l wonder why?

Homegrown is always better. I would encourage buying from a local farmer

I think here it's associated with poverty. I'm not sure about anywhere else. My husband & me have only had beef liver & it was so mineraly that we didn't like it. It also stank. Our families tried saying that it was steak, except we never had steak because it was so expensive. That early experience turned us off of even trying other livers
