      I think it's great that not only was the stress test double the required standard, they were happy to go way over all limits, on camera. That's so cool and shows how confident they are in products 💪💪💪

    That’s one of the wonderful things about metals. They stretch and deform quite a bit before actually fracturing. Carbon composites shatter rather catastrophically and often unexpectedly

    Rich found himself 4 times in the first 2 minutes. Some people take decades, or even their whole life, to find themselves. Well done!

    IF I had the £££ I'd be ordering right now. But yeah... one piece aluminum CNCed cranks will do for me. Can totally see why these Ti ones are at a premium though.

    I wish their cranks were 300. I can't do 500 for crank arms. 300 I would do.

  • @andrewbrown8927
    @andrewbrown8927 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I would love if they made some more parts. They really don't need to use titanium they should do aluminum to keep prices lower. Some handle bars, stems, and I think they are capable of doing cassettes also. Some aftermarket fork stations would be cool also. Never seen that yet.

    • @andynelson1977

  • @ANTheWhizkid

    I understand it’s a one piece design whereas most other manufacturers weld two halves together. The design requires a certain amount of machining hours which is a bit more as well. And probably the parts per hour are fewer than in other factories productions. Well, none the less they’re offering a dub spindle and for many people that’s easier than wrapping their head around the chain line of their bike. So yeah they might be a few grams heavier than similar products but they have their place on the market. Though I would appreciate the price of the aluminum enduro ones to go down to 400-450 over time. Machines depreciate, personell not. It’s on them if they translate that into a higher profit margin or a lower price.
