    Huge difference. Back when goggle, FB etc EXITED China, they had a choice to comply with local laws (like Microsoft with its Bing agreed to). They DECIDED not to. In the case of TikTok, the company has bent over backwards to comply with whatever lawmakers threw at it and then some.

      Exactly! You are absolutely right to the point. 100% agreed! The US MSM have been always trying to confuse and mislead people by equating the FB and Google exiting China to the TikTok ban in the US. Like you said, Huge difference!

    USA bans Iran, Russia and China while more countries don’t use dollar system. Who is isolated?

    has nothing to do with espionage, tiktok was banned because it is where all the pro palestinians younger demographic gather. being pro palestinian is a bigger crime than anything these days

      LOL, that's a ludicrous assertion. Do you think that topic is really more important to the U.S. than rampant Chinese espionage and IP theft?

      @@bsmithhammer you upload your IP to tiktok??

    • @bsmithhammer
      @bsmithhammer 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thewolfofswingthat2035 I don't use TikTok, because I'm neither a child nor an idiot.

    • @thewolfofswingthat2035

      @@bsmithhammer exactly. People with IP won't use tiktok anyway

    • @bsmithhammer
      @bsmithhammer 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thewolfofswingthat2035 And I rest my case. One doesn't need to upload their IP directly to TikTok in order to be vulnerable to the IP theft efforts of the PRC. If you don't understand that you're either naive, or trolling on behalf of your sponsor.

    Under the TikTok people can see clearly the new clothes of empire. It is really embarrassing and bothersome to the empire, instead of ordinary people.

      One point on TikTok that seems overlooked: Bytedance is adamant that they don’t share data with CCP. Kk…maybe so… but I have yet to hear them claim CCP in no way influences the content distributed to American TT’ers… isn’t that the REAL concern, Mr B?

    The fact that China refuses to divest of Tiktok shows that this is not about money, but perhaps more than that

    They can’t possibly spin off tik tok? I heard somewhere that the company is worth over 200 billion. Will have to be banned eventually..

    When they are in the economical and political decline they become fragile, frustrated and very sensitive, they lost their orientation and their confidence, and they have no more sense of humor, except their increasing anxiety. When they have problem they always say all are the Chinese, Russian or other country's fault.
