    I rarely see anyone at my gym using this machine but honestly it is a lot of fun and such a great workout.

    This is my favorite exercise, I do 30 min on level 6. It works the entire upper body, without the need for different sets of weights. I'm one of the few people at my gym using it, and probably the only female.

    My gym has at least two of these machines & I'm going to start using them. I need ways to get a cardio workout without hurting the rest of my body & this is great. I love it when people get right to the point & not endlessly chatter to fill the time. Thanks.

      would you recommend this in combination with swimming for cardio for someone who has knee pain due to obesity? ive tried stairclimbers, and walking long distance but my knees hurt like hell afterwards

      @@tamask7749 i know your comment was posted two months ago but have you tried rehabbing your knees or doing other ways to take away the pain? I did a quick search that said: Walking, Elliptical Machine and Bicycle. ...

    The rope in my gym doesn’t have the angles. But you gave me some new ideas on how to use adjust my workout. Thanks 🙏

    Thx for a great video. This machine is underappreciated but I've recently learned it can be useful not only for strengthening, but shoulder maintenance and rehab as well.

      Good to know, I'm currently attempting to rehab a strained rotator cuff, so will give this a try.

    This is great to throw it an the end of your workout. Just used it at my gym for the first time today . We don’t have a bench though, just standing. I didn’t think to use it pulling up though, great idea.

    My gym used to have one of these, I’d spend an hour blasting away at all kinds of angles. Reckon I was one of a very few that ever touched the thing, never queued to use it ever, it was like the secret beast! I miss it

    What sort of speed/pace do you go at for cardio? I Hurt my hip flexor and just tried using this for cardio. Def going to integrate this into my workouts even when I’m good to run again as it’s a great workout!

    Can anyone a answer me this question cuz I can’t find an answer. I pulled the verticals rope for 30 minutes no brakes at a well steady pace in planet fitness today. How many calories did I roughly burn? I’m like really curious and I can’t find answers 😕

    • @NickSiekierski
      @NickSiekierski 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      probably a few hundred calories, you need to use an Apple Watch or FitBit if you want more accuracy, otherwise you need to at least measure your heart rate every few minutes, there's probably a formula for how many calories you burn at a certain HR/age/fitness level etc.
