    hi! I was wondering how you would do the triangles if you had an odd number (7) strings? How would you divide the groups up? Great video!

    • @kinseyb7017
      @kinseyb7017  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you would have to do a group of 3 and a group of 4, but on the side with the group of 3 i would do an extra knot to make it seem like there's 4 strings-if that makes sense :)

    Just to clarify do you include your background color in all of your base colors? Or should you separate it when you’re doing the triangles?

    • @kinseyb7017
      @kinseyb7017  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i use the background color as part of my base strings. i use to when stitching the triangle, but i just make sure to leave it on the edge so i can start my knots with it :)

    • @elise3412

      Add an extra string and then tape it off to the side ! for example if the pattern says 17 strings then cut 18 and tape away 1 :) sorry this is a late reply!

    If I have 18 strings at 90 inches, would I need to double it if I’m folding them in half?

    • @Artsycrossing07
      @Artsycrossing07 ปีที่แล้ว

      @saz7969 if you fold the strings in half then you would have a total of 36 strings at 45 inches. But it you need a total of 18 in 90 inches of length then you would cut 9 180 inch strings to have 18 strings with 90 inches in length, or you could cut 9 90 inch strings to have 18 strings with 45 inches in length. Hope this helped.

    Are alphas easier than normals?

    • @emmajohnson7034
      @emmajohnson7034 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think they are much easier because all you are doing is making forward and backwards knots and switching color as needed to make your pattern I hope this answered your question

    • @NayNay-dg6fi
      @NayNay-dg6fi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Thanks.

    • @gretchenchin326
      @gretchenchin326 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think they're actually much harder because you have many same color strings (base strings) and that can be confusing and it's easy to mess up. Knots in alphas should be consistent, because if they're different sizes, the whole row is going to be wonky and it's often a problem for begginers. Alphas also require more work and time, you can't segment knot. Normal patterns are easier.

    • @melaniesky1920
      @melaniesky1920 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes I only do alphas. I still don’t know how to segment knot for normals

    • @yvonnemerideth9600
      @yvonnemerideth9600 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are about the same but they take a lot long longer to make because if the amount of rows compared to a normal pattern

    Is it possible to do this same process for a normal pattern. I know there's a different way for triangle ends for normal patterns, I'm just curious if it could work for a normal pattern as well. I'm tempted to try it for normal patterns that are over 20 strings 🤔

    Guys if you ever used clear nail polish to seal ends of strings to the back of the bracelet.. I need to know does it melt or stick to your wrist when you wear the bracelet in hot weathers? I usually add like a super thin layer is this okay?

    • @kinseyb7017
      @kinseyb7017  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
