Thanks so much for the tip on how to start with an odd number of strings! There have been so many patterns that I decided not to do because it had an odd number of strings and I couldn't find a tutorial on how to do that!
YAYYY! Thank u so much for posting a tutorial of this! I've been wanting to learn how to do this for a little while now, and I couldn't find a video anywhere!
idk if u ever found an answer but if you look at how people end wallhangs or keychains you can do that. also, you kinda just pull out the string that the base strings are tied onto
is it possible to do this if you have a pattern that does not have just one color in the beggining? for example, if that pattern you used didn't have that many blue rows (let's say it had 3 blue rows and then the princess starts) and instead you had to make the loop inside the crown of that princess (if that makes sense 😭)
Have you tried using the string you do the larks head knots on as a two base strings instead? I'm curious on how it will look instead of stitching in the back of the bracelet.
Thank you so much for this amazing video. I am a beginner when it comes to alphas so not only was this educating, but i also got to know an amazing channel. U just earned a sub! Also congrats on 100k subs
Hi, thank you for sharing, I admire your work. Can you make a tutorial how you do the end of the keychain? Of how you tied up the background strings at the end.
idk why i still struggle so significantly with this one. I've done it many times with a single-colored leading string, but can't for the life of me do it while a pattern is going on
@@kinseyb7017 Hi omg U replied to me! I can't believe it! 😀 I have made many bracelets by watching your videos with my friends too! And I really want to show you these but I don't know how! So if you know can you please tell me! Thank You
okay i have an idea ( its more like a question but im gonna try my idea anyway) can’t we use the piece of thread that we r using as the background ( the part u taped at 4:20) and use it for the other part of the loop (the side ur making at 7:00) i feel if we make that thread longer in the beginning we can definitely use it! And not add an other piece of thread that we will need to hide!
The knots depend on the types of strings that you use. So like if you want knots of the same size use thread that produces the same size of knots, or, even better, use the same string brand. It also depends on knot tension and stuff Masha knots explains how real well. Oop it’s a paragraph-
it just depends on the pattern but for these ones in the video, i'd say around 10-12 inches. always better to have your strings be too long than not long enough!
the person who made this technique hasn't let anyone else make tutorials for this.. i've heard a lot of people and channels have asked and they said no just wondering if you knew about that (vid th-cam.com/video/wJDV7bfqZos/w-d-xo.html)
what really? i didn't know that. i hope they don't take this video down. theirs is in another language so i'm assuming it's probably confusing for some people :(

Wow! This was so cool to watch! Thank you for sharing!
I'm looking for the tutorial for the blue butterfly bookmark. I saw a video on Tiktok recommending your videos. Where can I find it?
Thank you so much! I just made this for my first alpha bookmark!
Yay! Found a Stray Kids pattern, and thought it would make a awesome bookmark
thank you kindly! such an awesome way to make an original boomark :]

So, I have a question how long did you make your base strings?
Have you tried using the string you do the larks head knots on as a two base strings instead? I'm curious on how it will look instead of stitching in the back of the bracelet.
yes that might work a bit better!

i show how to do that in my video on how to make alpha patterns on keychains!

wait i totally see what you're saying. definitely try it and see if it works! that way there's not ugly excess pieces :)
Oh hey! I tried and it worked so well! Btw thank u sm the tutorial was easy and clear very helpful
how would you make the loop in the middle if you only had 4 strings instead of 6 so it would be split into 2 instead of 3?
What is a regular length string? no idea how long to cut them
You saved my life
I did the book mark start before but it was from a tutorial that I wasn’t able to follow so I hope if I follow this one it easier to follow
i love this tutorial!! please do a tut on the daisy chain bracelet 😍💗💗
oooo yes!!
Does stitching over your ends affect the fabric at all? No weird lumps?
How can I add a sharmes for my bracelets?
Also how can I make my konts the same size? 😀

Great video! How long do the base strings need to be
it just depends on the pattern but for these ones in the video, i'd say around 10-12 inches. always better to have your strings be too long than not long enough!
is it possible to start my normal patterns like this (without the loop) ?
i think you probably could!
what yarn did you use to make it?
Usually it’s called embroidery floss you can get it for, Michaels or any craft store :)
yes i use embroidery floss!!
THANK YOU SO MUCh
So when you start your alpha bracelet the first row, do you do a backward forward twice? Or once?
at the beginning and the end of every row
once when you start, twice every other time I believe:))
I know this is the wrong video but I was hoping you could point me in the right direction for pattern #60 for a slow how to video
Hello! I tried your greek wave tutorial and was really confused through the entire thing. would you ever consider redoing this tutorial? :)
yes potentially!
thank u so much!
I've never been this early

buy more!😂

what do i do with the extra 14th string?
Entendi poco y nada de lo que decia, nose ingles😭
Pero gracias igual, nadie hace tutoriales para hacer un marca paginas de este estilo❤❤❤
I wish you could explain more when to use the straight technique. I hate that you said "if that makes sense" and then didn't explain more lol
well this isn't a straight edge technique tutorial! i do have a separate video for that if you need further explaining :)
early!!
There’s a reason that there are no other tutorials for this on TH-cam. The creator of the technique did not want her tutorial to be recreated.
I’m just curious, where did you get this information? Did she post about it?
yeah i'm just now hearing this! i had no idea they felt this way. i know their video is in another language, i just wanted it to be more accessible:(

btw love ur vids my bb is brandi1308
I usually take 6 strings out
yes you need 6 strings every time!
what length did you use for this bracelet?
