Well, the choice for me was between the Roland 202 / Pioneer SB3 / DJ400.....After this video and the potential for using Rolands drum sounds within a mix, its got to be the Roland. Thanks for all your helpful videos.
That's not correct. You can mix anything with either software. All genre of music. It's up to you. I mixed a variety of genres of music with both platforms.
You can mix anything on any thing but i think just like you,im not interested in serato. I use traktor and serato for mixing tech house. All my other friends who mix all other genres use serato.

ddj 400, don't get a roland dj 202, I've had 3 each one has broken getting a refund, gonna buy the sb3 as I already have a serato liscence (they all broke within a week, channel 1 volume fader)
Only problem with these controllers is build quality. everything is wobbly. my rca outputs crackle as they are left to wobble around. same goes for the mic input. . now i am having troubles with the play buttons stopping working mid set. buying a denon now!
I have a tiny problem. when I record a set in Rekordbox and save it in the 'recordings' folder it gets lost. I think it didn't save at all :/ help please

@@sascha.2001 it's easy to mix hip hop on cdjs. I would say practice as much as possible.

if your using windows ...use the search function in the windows sign at bottom left
search serato ...look for the highest number(latest mix)
