- DeWalt continues to broaden their reach into the real mechanics' line of tools. This time it's the DeWalt impact deep socket set that comes in 1/2-inch Metric DWMT19242. This is a 26-piece impact socket set with large laser-etched numbers that are easily read, even from a distance.
Made from Cr-Mo steel, the DeWalt impact deep socket set seems to handle a beating well. In addition, the black oxide finish fights back the corrosion. This 26-piece impact socket set is also CR440 heat-treated for additional durability. The socket walls are thick and the base, near the 1/2-inch square anvil is even thicker. The 6-point milling for 6-point fasteners stop about halfway down the socket, and most of the socket is solid steel.
This DeWalt DWMT19242 1/2" impact deep socket set includes the same DirectTorque technology as the shorter impact socket set we reviewed.
DeWalt includes the Full Lifetime warranty with the DWMT19242 1/2-inch Metric impact deep socket set. So no waiting for the tool truck or filling out a report. Just call or email them with the broken part, and they will have a new one on the way. Just discard the old part.

I like these a lot. I would of already pulled the trigger on them but I am waiting on them to come out with the same sockets with a hard case

lazer etching rubs off to easy a nice deep stamping is better

is it ok to use an adapter for the sockets and put em in my impact drill instead of getting an impact wrench?
You can do that, but the impact drill is not going to have nearly as much power as an impact wrench. Thanks for watching.
