Bowie had a knack for predicting the future, seeing where things were headed. He was so intelligent, and continued to read, learn, and grow his whole life. He's a great example of using your brain as well as your imagination.
There is something so warm and content about him in '87, it's so sad that he came to despise this period of his music afterward. I'm glad we have those 80's albums, they're not his best, but they're so warm and sweet and mostly still pretty decent lyrics.
I'm a conservative and so are people I know who absolutley LOVE Bowie. You really can't generalize about half the population. You can't speak for "us"; we are not a monolith.
i have a pretty good library at home...one is exposed to all kinds of culture. i am sure that for every one of a kid who became a martian freak because he listened to my lyrics there was another one who went thhrough university and became a doctor ..its all so relative
You can tell the interviewer has so much respect and love for David that it warms him.
And now his son, Duncan Jones, is a very good film/movies director. How beautiful this circle of life is !
A humble artist like his dad. Bowie was simply the greatest
this interview could have been done this past year and it would seem even more timely in regards to his views on america

thanks for uploading! too bad we never get the chance see him directing films...
Maybe his son, as a Director can perhaps take on these projects...
Great interview !
It's funny and tragic that since this interview America has become a worst place for its citizens rather than a better one.
Much Music clip. Daniel Richler was always a great interviewer. hIs father is the writer Mordecai Richler.
No, this was after Much, when he was arts and culture reporter for the CBC's The Journal.
I don't get why conservatives hate David Bowie. He's a liberal but he also has great talent.
+rayzer Conservatives alway hate what they can't or refuse to understand....
Eh he really wasn't great after 1983...

beckylink Then why do you and other conservatives hate individualism so much? Pretty of hypocritical.
+rayzer He wasn't a liberal.
I want a man like him!!!!!

Thats okay. I can't remember anything from 1975 to 1978 because I was a baby. I was born in 1975.
and nothing has changed
Viera sido un político bien guapo
where is his music about 9-11
What the hell ? 😂
Heathen (2002)
Wasn't that great!
Bowie was way ahead of his time here. He shares politics with President Trump.
