    Great video, I love the pellet feeder. I tend to use the Sonubaits micro wafter, it’s a bit more resilient than an expander especially if silvers around. I’ve tried 2” hooklengths this year and they do make a difference for F1s.

      Yea those little band ums are amazing. I just need to build confidence with that kind of hook bait

    Good vid Joe, have you or would you do a vid about different methods I.E banjo, hybrid, pellet and method, and why n when to use the different types😁cheers👍

    Great vid. Sometimes I shove a few dry 4mm hard pellets in and cap off with damp micros, which you can’t do on a method feeder

    Hi joe
    I use the pellet feeder regularly especially when I want to have a nice compact trap !
    I also find it can work well in deeper water and I’m more confident the bait is still in the feeder when it hits the bottom.
    It sometimes scores well chucking it on the pole line when fishing shallow at 13 or 14 meter when the fish drop down in the water.
    Nice suggestion about a 2inch hook length I usually use 4 inch so I may tweet this.
    I also like the way you prep the micros I’ll definitely give this a go all in all a cracking vlog pal 🐟👍

    Great stuff Joe - I'm guilty of overlooking them, guess I should chuck a few in my ICS box with the methods and XR banjo's and give them a fair crack.

      Everyone is the same 🤣 I did a filming day with a famous feeder mam a few years ago and he chucked a method and hybrid and couldn't catch. Swapped to be pellet feeder and bagged up. It can be a game changer on the right venue

    Great video mate and might even help me solve my issue with pellets sticking in the feeder 🤔

      I think I've come up.with a great solution to make it even simpler. More testing needed tho

    Great video. When you cast you pull the rod back and forward after release. What’s the reason you do this in the cast?

    • @MatchFishingFilms
      @MatchFishingFilms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's to cushion the feeder into the water when it hits the clip. If you let the feeder just splash in there is a chance the presentation could be spoilt.

    Great vid … do you think this method is for up to far banks etc. or do you think it works in open water too 👍

      Deffo works in open water too and can be great in deep water also
