My husband and I used your tips, to go to Tokyo Disney today. We arrived at 7am, and waited till 8:45am to enter the parks. It was worth waking up early and waiting We were able to get premier passes for beauty and the beast immediately, and my husband booked Pooh bear fast passes. And then we saw monsters inc was 10 min, so we jumped in line. We were able to do all that within 15 min of getting into the park! After being able to knock out the 3 biggest rides we wanted to do, the rest of the day was super chill. We were able to ride a bunch of other rides, we ate at hungry bear and got the waffles u recommended. Everything was delicious! My husband and I have frequented Disneyland, disneyworld, Disney Paris, and Disney Tokyo (once before). I know this may sound dramatic, but today was the best Disney day we have ever experienced!! And it was perfect timing, cause today is my birthday! We wanted to say we really appreciated your tips and all the videos you’ve made for the parks. Thank you for sharing all your insider tips and for making such happy informative videos. You’re amazing! 🤗
Hey Chris, we made our first visit to Tokyo Disneyland in April and with all the help you provided it was a great experience. Being used to Disney World prices ($150 park entry, $30 Genie and $16 Lightning) and considering that this was probably a once in a lifetime experience our strategy did not involve price. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and took full advantage of early entry, priority pass, Premier, avoided the weekends and also did the evening entry on arrival which was only approximately $30 each for 5-9 pm. Other than Baymax we typically waited no more than 20 minutes for rides with numerous walk ons. Some advice I found very valuable is that early entry was a bigger advantage than we expected and unlike Disney World we were able to book another priority when the previous booked priority start time arrived (not when we checked in for the ride). We got in the long early entry line at 8:30 for a 8:45 entry and entered the park at 8:50 and immediately booked Beauty and Monsters. We used 4 priority booking by 11:00. We noticed that they used all gates on both sides for early entry which fanned out the line and expedited getting in. Thanks again for the help.
Really need this! I’ve only been to Disneyland and Adventure Park in Anaheim once 10years ago. Staying at the Ambassador Hotel so got that correct!! Going in early September for my 40th birthday!!!
I just bought the guidebook! It really is the best! I appreciate how you didn’t just cover TDR information, but all things related to traveling to Japan. This is a must have if you haven’t been to TDR before. (I’ve been twice but this time I won’t have my cousins who usually do all the planning for us.)
This is very helpful and I got a soft opening at Disneysea yesterday after missing out last week. Due to time arrival at park got a standby for Peter Pan at 7.10pm. Only got the 1 ride but it was wow words can't describe.
Hey, Chris! I just got from Tokyo, 3 weeks ago and I had a blast! Thank you so much for giving me and mom information to get around Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea!

I did some pre-planning before watching the video and this was my exact plan! I already knew beauty and the beast would be too crazy for standby so I want to go to monsters and buy dpa and get other priority passes while in line

Hey Chris! Love your videos and can't wait to visit Tokyo Disneyland! I'm looking to get an evening pass one of the days that I am there. Have you done any videos about this type of pass and how to maximize a half day in Disneyland? Thanks!
Seriously, you make the best guides and I only wish there was someone making guides with the same quality for Disneyland here in California. Unfortunately I can’t visit TDR too often haha
Just curious but do you need to buy disney premierpass for beauty and beast ride or can youget it with the free fast pass? Also is klook highly recommend if you are trying to buy tickets for Disneyland or disney sea before hand and not staying at the resort?
I’m planning a trip to Tokyo Disney Resort in October. Will your guide be updated at all to include info about Fantasy Springs? Just wondering if I should wait to purchase!
We visited Disneyland on 28th May, did most of the rides ,even when the weather was bad and trains shut down at evening.. may be that’s why the lines were shorter. Purchased priority ticket for Beauty and Beast though. Still I can say it was worth the trip. Followed your tips. Was watching your videos from past 2 weeks. Thanks for all the info you gather in your videos . -from a Disney fan.
19:00 Question from a fellow canadian! you keep on saying go to the standby line first. What I don't understand is that you don't have standby tickets yet for that ride. How does this work? Is this the same for DisneySea?
Can you elaborate on adding your credit card to the website? Do you have to have park tickets before adding? I don’t see where you can input the info Thanks for your help
Hi! That's a really helpful video. When would you recommend arriving at DisneySea on the first few days after the opening of Fantasy Springs? I will be there on June 7 and really hope to see the Frozen and Tangled rides.
They fast pass is per ride per person in your group? So that’s like 2000 yen x 6 (person in my group) for each ride???!?!? That’s going to add up really fast.
Really needed this video!! Started planning our trip coming from FL for Star Wars Celebration 2025, going to the Disney parks as well. We are planning on staying around the Big Sight area (thought it was pretty centrally located). Any input on this area to stay? Thanks!
Regarding putting the credit card info you said at the beginning that if you did not bought it through the official TDR app you gotta put them through your account at the TDR website. Can you do it days in advance or gotta be the day/night before you go and if I buy tickets for both parks (one day TDL and the next TDS) can I scan them at the same time or do it separately?
Here is our experience with the app on our recent visit. The TDR website is the same login as other Disney websites but not linked so our card was not linked from other Disney accounts. We booked our hotel through the website which loaded our card and when we logged into the app (same user and password) our reservation and card were available. We booked our park tickets through the app in advance so they were there automatically. Similar to Disney World we did have to link (or share) accounts so that one person could purchase and book the group. I don’t recall all of the details on the account sharing but we did have a glitch one morning where a ticket didn’t show up on my wife’s app, but a cast member quickly resolved it by refreshing the app. Hope this helps
@@DonSmith-sd5eg well I haven't been to any Disney park and Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea will be my first experience so I'm trying to learn all I can before my visit. Once you buy them (through Klook as an example), you should be able to scan them immediately. I haven't personally tried. Because tickets you purchase through the TDR app show up immediately, I don't see why you couldn't do it with the Klook tickets.
I want to start at Disneysea and end my day at Disneyland. However you cannot get a DPA pass for Beauty and the Beast unless you're in Disneyland. Do I just get my toes into the Disneylan, get my DPA for a later time and immediately proceed to DisneySea?
As long as you have a valid ticket that has been scanned into the Park, you can buy a DPA for that Park. I personally haven't done it but have heard others do it. I find it too stressful going between parks like that tbh.
