Hey Chris! I watch your videos since last year and this last September me and my partner finally traveled to Japan! Needless to say, your videos were super helpful for planning our visits to USJ and Tokyo DisneySea, so thanks a lot for all the effort you put in these videos for both people who are going to visit the parks and those who just want a glimpse of their magic! 💖💖 Thank you again and greetings from Chile!
“Not everything has to be 10/10, it just has to be good” my motto! I’m preparing to visit Tokyo Disney/ Sea next year and your videos have been so informative. Thank you so much!!
Love the earrings! we went to Disney Tokyo on a whim in 2008! and had ZERO idea what to do we left exhausted bamboozled and barely took in things so thanks to your vids our next trip is going to be way more chill and fun!❤
I understand that when you live in a country, things might seem expensive to you, but I've been looking at this going "$1.25 for a decent sized bottled drink?? that's hella cheap!" along with a lot of the food prices. holy crap, they're cheap.
The Kirin bottles with Ariel on them are soooo adorable! I cleaned mine, brought it back to Ishikawa and kept it for 2 years as a souvenir haha 🐠 Thank you for your video as always 💖 P.S. Love Chris's earrings!!!
Perfect timing as I’m right at the food planning stage for our December trip 🙌🏻 Thank you so much - adding the deep fried pizza and spicy chicken to our list! Crossing fingers we get to see you at the park while we’re there 😊
11:14 when Chris was explaining the Little Green Man joke, I thought the music in the background was the “Wa, wa, wa” bad pun sound, but it was just the music in the restaurant 😂😂
Peach and raspberry is such a great flavour combo! The Alien mochi is something I looooong to try! The pizza looked delicious! Simple and easy to eat. Love the Mickey (Ice Cream Sandwich?) earrings!
Nice earrings Chris! Fun video and we've had all those items over the years! But we really loved the black pepper teriyaki chicken roll at the Restaurant Sakura terrace.
I’ve been to both Disney parks in Japan in September of this year and I’ve FINALLY tried the martian mochis and let me tell you it was YUMMY. If you like chocolate, the chocolate one was my favorite hehe.
That's an incredible list Chris. You've hit all my favourites except for 2: The bacon wrapped rice roll. Sticky salty and amazing. The Donald ebi (prawn) ring. A Nikuman made with prawn in a ring shape. Perfection on a cold day.
@@tdrexplorer No worries 👍. We actually saw you at Disney Sea on our last visit but you were filming so we didnt want to interrupt. Thanks for the awesome content which makes me miss the parks even more 😢.
Omg I was wondering why nobody on these type of videos show the bacon wrapped rice roll, was the best thing I tried in Disney Sea back in 2017 and I was afraid that they discontinued because no one mention it! 😢 btw do you know if is only available on Disney Sea or you can also find it on Tokyo Disneyland?
Fun fact, I went to Disney Sea yeeeeears ago, and at that time the sea salt ice cream actually came in a plastic shell you could take home instead of a wafer. I think this new version is better, but still fun to think about. Also the gyoza dog is so good!
Salty Litchi is one of my fave drinks! You won't believe they sell them for $4/each at Donki in Honolulu. When I was in Japan recently, I found them at a local Daiso for something like 95 Yen each. I went nuts, and bought a whole basket of them haha.
Most of the time, you can get the smoked chicken leg at Miguel’s with little to no wait. It’s my go-to when the line at the stand is insane. Same price (you don’t have to get the set), no wait AND a place to sit down? Yes, please! 🤗🤗🤗
“If I had pearls, I’d be clutching them right now” might be my favorite line ever 😂 I’m finally going to Tokyo Disney in April and I can’t wait to try all of these!
The pricing is so reasonable for a theme park 😭 I’m used to seeing like $10 hotdogs at Universal Singapore, so I loved the food at Disneysea ❤️ the sea salt monaka is DELICIOUS! defo recommend, it’s so good.
My girlfriend and I both gasped out loud when you said they don't have the roast beef anymore. We remember you mentioning it a couple of times and how much you loved it!
We finally visited DisneySea in September and tried your entire list except for the fried pizza - we totally missed that. Ah well, reasons to go back eh. Our favourite snack was probably the spicy chicken leg and the apple tea soda was as life-changing as you say. SOOOOO GOOD!! Thank you for all the amazing content, it's been so helpful with planning our days at Tokyo Disney Resort and we had a fantastic time, the perfect finale to our honeymoon.
I love the little green men dumpling’s. Also I know it wasn’t in the video but i really got addicted to Mike Melon bread. I might have bought more than one Mike melon bread when I was there
I'm happy there are non-pork options! I struggle when i go to Japan to find meat options that aren't pork so it's nice to an amusement park has more than just 1 option
We are here now! Spent the afternoon in DL this afternoon/evening - using your guide and videos to help us sort out food. Tomorrow is Disney Sea, so very good timing! We will look for most of the items you mentioned. :)
What did you get to try?? I wanna hear! Also, thank you for getting our guidebook! (for anyone seeing this comment and wondering you can see our guidebooks on our website tdrexplorer.com/books)
@@tdrexplorer we tried the shell ice cream and the mochi. We tried to find the calzone, but couldn't! That park is so damn big. The mochi for me was more about getting the collectible (which we saw in an earlier video of yours) as i love the little aliens. We liked the ice cream ok, but preferred the chocolate one sold with it.
Hello Cris. You are sooo adorable... you explain it very well... i love it when you inside the stores and show the items.. ❤❤❤ can you please make a review (updated) on hotels in Disneyland & Universal Studios? Thank you and stay safe
I've been watching your videos for a while now and I just love following your explorations. I don't know if I will ever be able to make it to Japan, so I'm really happy I get to see it through your eyes. Thank you!!
I'm heading to Tokyo Disney in December and can't wait to try the Gyoza Dog and Green Alien Mochi! Also looking forward to hearing about your favorite Christmas snacks!
Talk about timing, I'm at the beginning of planning my Japan trip for next year and a lot of your videos have been so helpful for my Disney and universal plans so this is a great addition to know which are some of the treats I should be on the lookout.
I have great timing! Thank you so much for watching. Also, watch for our 2024 guidebook, which will be out in early 2024! I always include tons of food options to try, more than what's in the videos.
Everything on this list of yours looks 100% delicious, and I'm still making it one of my first priorities to try the Kirin Apple Tea Soda if I ever do go. It looks so refreshing!
This video made me hungry 😂 I loved so many of these when I visited TDR in 2018. The gyoza dog, apple tea soda, the alien mochi, and the monaka were some of my favourites. They were all recommended by you back then too! I can't wait to try the fried chicken and the fried pizza next time I visit.
Last year for my first trip at Disneysea I tried the gyoza dog and man how I loved it, that was so warm and comforting!! Next time I'd like to try the chicken leg you recommended and the little green aliens...oooooooh *OoO*
A nice video to start the day! Love your earrings btw! and please continue to oversell the apple tea soda! ^_^. When my relatives came to visit last month, they loved the Salty Litchi drink.
Thank you for watching! I do love the earrings so much, a perfect accessory. I'll continue to scream about Apple Tea Soda until it's no longer sold haha.
Just found your site as I am planning my first trip to Japan next year for TDR and DisneySea. Downloaded your guide on my ipad and enjoying all of your content!!
I got a souvenir towel with a half Disneyland half DisneySea pattern, and I didn't notice till I got home that the Gyoza Dog was included as an illustration on it - gotta memorialize the sausage bun!
Hi Chris! Wow, we just missed you by a few days! The alien mochi, monaka, gyoza dog & apple tea soda were all delicious, but my fave has to be the curry from Casbah Food Court. We love Indian curry, but Japanese curry was a revelation! Ultimate comfort food. We're back home now, missing Japan but already thinking about our next trip. Disney Sea = ❤ Btw, your book was very helpful in our planning! 👋 from Illinois in the U.S.
We spend 2 days at Disneyland and Disneysea and I was sooooo excited to try the Apple Tea Soda after hearing Chris rave about it so much. And lets just say that drink was the most perfect drink ever during those hot September days at the park Just absolutely perfect
I had the ice cream in a shell. So delicious. I’ve been going to the parks for ten years or so and this was the first time. Heading there again next week so great timing for other items to try
I JUST saw a video on twitter that was sharing snacks from Japan and I felt like I needed to check what my favorite explorer was up to-- A Halloween Treat apparently! A new video! Thanks!
The ice bars are good. I enjoyed the sea shell. The Green men are fantastic. Next time I'm in Japan Disney Sea I will try the gyoza dog and the litchie drink. I didn't see it in September when I was there. Thanks for the update.
The spicy chicken leg looks yummy. I want to try the Donald Duck Shrimp Bun. You didn’t try it but I love shrimp and the packaging looks soo cute. The Apple soda looks good as well.
Awesome earrings so cute. On the pizza question if you want to try jalapeno and pineapple on your pizza, you're welcome. Also that spicy chicken leg looked 🔥
No matter what, do not get the "Liberty Sundae". Horrible!! Disney Sea food was so hit and miss. That Minnie Ice block was amazing and now that you mention it-it was a very hot day when I went and IT DIDN'T MELT!!! Loved the Sea Salt Ice cream thing and the Alien Mochi. Thanks for all your help Chris, we had a fantastic time and your guide really helped.

"Fried pizza" its called "empanadilla" in Puerto Rico 😉
