I really appreciate that you are presenting this from the viewpoint of a "big Disney fan" but not a hardcore apologist who can't acknowledge the reality of how things go at crowded theme parks. Incidentally, not sure if you've ever been to Shanghai Disney, but their Pirates of the Caribbean ride is NEXT-next-level. There is *actual* magic occurring on that ride. That's the only way I can describe it.
Thank you. Yes, there is actually room for nuance on the internet lol. I have actually seen the pirates at Shanghai. I watched a video of it thinking it would be the same as others so broke my spoilers rule and then couldn’t take my eyes off it!
Absolutely love your videos and how much love, honesty, and care you put into them. I’m always so excited when a new video comes out! You’re a wonderful storyteller. Thankyou for the once again very helpful video!
Yes, we would be very interested in a USJ video as we are planning to visit for the first time this May! And especially for Super Nintendo World. Here's hoping the new Donkey Kong area (and mine cart ride!) will be open in time for our visit.
Seeing your video does not make me miss Tokyo Disney one bit. I am half Japanese and lived in Tokyo for a few years with my Japanese wife and our two kids and we visited Tokyo Disney a few times. One thing I hated about Tokyo is that waiting in a long queue wherever you go is inevitable but the queues at Disney were insane. On our last visit there it was cold and raining and there were so many people in the park that the queues were too long and we ended up going on only two rides. The kids were upset and I was annoyed about the time and money that we spent to go there. We love the Disney parks since we also lived in Florida and were annual pass holders to Disney World but that last Tokyo Disney trip scarred us. We skipped Tokyo Disney our last visit back to Japan so we can enjoy time with our families instead of getting frustrated waiting in crazy long queues. Hats off to you for going through that for 12 hours.
first time viewer here! 🙋♀️ LOVED ur storytelling!! i was engaged throughout the whole video and found ur commentary funny, amusing and touching. keep up the good work :)
My fave video yet…opening / closing train shots and the sarcasm on point very entertaining. Amazing how much this applies to my recent Disneyworld visit!
Going back to Japan for a visit in October/November 2024. Curious to see how long the waits are and how crowded it's become. When I lived there from 2010 to 2014, I went to DisneySea and Land several times. Went once in the summer: two/three hour waits were common and even walking around was annoying (too crowded). However, when I went on weekdays using the evening ticket (3,000ish yen at the time) lines were 30 minutes or less . . . On a side note, when I went to Disney Land and California Adventure in 2010, I went on a March weekend for $70 for two separate days and waited no more than an hour for a ride.
I feel like that should be common knowledge when going to any Amusement Park or.. really, anywhere that attracts people. The weekend is always going to have at least triple the amount of people that during the week. For obvious reasons. 90% of kids and adults are busy during the week, hence, there's less people everywhere. Weekend they are no longer busy, hence, there's tons of people everywhere. It happens in Movie Theaters, Restaurants, Malls, Parks, Libraries, and so on and forth. Even things like Hotels and Plane tickets are more expensive during the weekend because of the huge influx if people lol.
Imagine being a Disney superfan/castmember and knowing all the tips and tricks. And being able to hack the system in U.S.A. Then going to Tokyo and realizing everyone here is just like you.😮 Welcome to Japan 🇯🇵
What a perfect video, love the way you edit and comment. And yes Tokyo Disneyland is too crowded to truly enjoy most of the rides. But the i loved strolling around feeling very nostalgic. I visited the magic kingdom with my parents when i was 12 years old in 1982, and Tokyo made me relive that trip big time.
I absolutely loved your video. I am a small TH-cam content creator myself making Disney vlogs in Orlando. You have really given me food for thought in how to present my videos. I really appreciate the level of work you put into your video. It must have taken you ages, but as a viewer I really felt immersed into your experience. Fantastic job.
Thank you my friend. Yeah, I try to do something that hardly anyone else is doing coz there’s too much of the other stuff. However, it’s not a great business strategy in general from a cost of time to income level. But I’ve made it work so maybe you can too! Thank you for noticing!
I was at Tokyo Disneyland a week before you! 🤩 Thurs 3/8. My amount of planning is… (1) what rides are closed at which park (land/sea) then decide which park to go to. (2) We accept that Disney will be busy, so never on Fri-Sat, or a national Holiday! (3) take the train and just go about our day! (4) since we’re from Japan, we now skip the parades and fireworks to wait in line for rides that are usually long
It was explained theoretically, and it was interesting. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea need experience to go around really efficiently. I've entered the park about 250 times, but I get nervous every time, and at the same time I'm excited☺️
It’s really important which month you go. If you go during school holiday in Japan, wait times are too long so I don’t even think about going. On the other hand, if you go during school times, especially Mid April or Mid January, crowd is much less due to many school related events, exams, start of new academic year etc
Don’t go on a weekend or holiday, be at the gates 90-120 min before opening time, and for goodness sake, RUN at rope drop! Run until you can’t breathe, and then keep RUNNING! Or just pay for a timed entry later, especially if you do not have Happy entry 15 minutes before general admission. Do not miss the second park, Disney Sea, but you need a minimum of 1 day per park. Although the beauty and the beast ride is great, I don’t think it’s the best thing in the parks. They have other excellent rides, but some of the shows and parades are amazing.
My husband and me were there in 2017 and I think it’s the Disneyland with the most visitors, there were way too many people inside. Most rides had waiting times around 2-3 hours, the longest was Toy Story with over 5 hours! We had one day for Disneyland and one for Disney sea and we didn’t expect to ride and do everything in just one day, but we also didn’t expect to be able to do so little things. I think we only were able to ride 5 rides and watch the parade in Disneyland and only 6 rides in Disney sea … and these were almost only smaller rides like jungle cruise and pirates of the Caribbean… My husband was so disappointed, that he booked for Disneyland Paris after our Japan vacation and now we are almost every year in Disneyland Paris 😂
We were there last summer, and did 20 rides in one day, plus all the parades, plus sitting down for two meals with basically zero wait time; lucky us and yes we used the DPA, and yes we also spent MONTHS planning about that in advance lol
Omg this video was beyond helpful! Thank you so much! I am going to be at Tokyo Disneyland for one day in 2 weeks, and your experience completely answered a bunch of questions for me that you can't really get from just reading a blog. I have been hearing that the food lines were crazy, but looks like I'm going to want to mobile order something as soon as possible haha. Fingers crossed the crowds are a little lighter for me, but in everything I've seen lately the parks just have been packed.
Man, I have to say that this video really impressed me! I hardly ever push the subscribe button even on channels I regularly watch for years, but apart from being insightful, your editing style and comical touches were so brilliant that I laughed out loud many times and I just had to immediately sub. (Also bonus points for that subtle "TDL was a whole other beast. But that's normally the beauty..." line haha, I see what you did there.) Re: the experience itself, it's sad that while TDR still remains the supreme of all Disney parks, even there it is increasingly harder to experience one gate fully in one day. Watching these kinds of videos reminds me of my MASSIVE luck that I probably did 3-3 days worth of attractions in just 1-1 days in Land & Sea back in Jan 19 (so still the paper FastPass era). It involved some immense planning but in DisneySea we did both Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror twice(!), Journey, 20,000 leagues, Sindbad, Nemo, Aquatopia, Raging Spirits, Big Band Beat 1st row, Fortress, Jumping Jellyfish, Flying Carpets and ate at Magellans + Hemingways at night (Indy was closed) and we actually also explored the park without rushing to attractions. I think our biggest wait was 15mins lmao. As for Disneyland, our massive-massive luck included finding three tickets on the floor coming out of Monsters Inc, so with extra FastPasses we've done both Hunny Hunt and Monsters 3 times, 2 Splash, 2 Big Thunder Mountain, 2 Space Mountain, Alice, Mark Twain Steamboat, Pirates, Philharmagic, Celebrate Fireworks show, Jungle Cruise, It's a Small World, Snow White, Haunted Mansion, Western River Railroad, that silly Stitch show and Buzz Lightyear ride (Star Tours was closed). Insane to think about and as much as I want to go back I'm afraid that we'd have to book a week there to actually top this and re-experience all of the things I have listed above, lol. But then again, I was extremely lucky - in USJ we've done Harry Potter 5 times and I got selected for Olivanders, too. Should've bought a lottery ticket aswell. 😂
Thank you so much for the kind words it means a lot. For videos most like this, check out my Travel vlogs Full Length Movies playlist which has around 30 videos in a storytelling style. As for your trip you sound like the luckiest person alive! Welcome.
Very enjoyable video - thanks for your effort! Just took my family to Tokyo Disney last week and fortunately, it was somewhat quieter than on the day you went. However, it was still rather stressful being on the app all the time trying to optimise my family members experience and not wanting to let anyone down 😂😅
Love your humour and narration. This pretty much is my kind of nightmare. Stressed out looking at the queues on screen - got to respect your dedication. At least the lines would be polite and orderly in Japan
I visited DisneySea lately and I totally regret I didn’t buy premier access. I wasted so much time standing in lines. It wasn’t worth it. I didn’t enjoy the park and I didn’t see everything. Some things I was doing in rush. Next time I would buy it and I highly recommend everyone to buy premier access.
One thing I cut from the script for runtime was I’ve heard a reason why it’s so much busier in Japan. That Japanese people have a higher threshold for waiting so they either accept it for what it is, are more patient than the West, or just have nothing else they want to do lol. Whichever way you want to interpret it! ☺️
I watched video with my young daughter. While She enjoyed all Disney things in video, I enjoyed the funny & entertaining voice over (& also all Disney related stuff 🤫). In your videos there everything for everyone.
Loved your video! Thanks for sharing, it is helping us to lower the expectations about Disney and we are motivated to planning more the next visit to Tokyo Disney. I'm hoping for your video about USJ. 😊
I can't imagine how crowded Fantasy Springs will be, people are insane going to TDR just to visit it when it first opens. I think they'll be in for a rude awakening since TDR has very inconsistent English support. I can understand Japanese so I don't have language issues, but I see many times how long it takes some people to check in due to communication issues. Or even try to ask questions at stores and can't communicate with people. Stuff like that will cause even larger lines as people are unprepared.
You are amazing, such a great video and so well told 😅😂 speaking from experience, we just cracked up laughing the whole way through this seeing the sea of Japanese heads!
Thanks for sharing this. I visited Japan parks and have always wondered, how come people are willing to wait for so long, in any case, i guess the paid fastpass does it job well. If everyone thought of gettjng it, then it wont work. But the ratio to people willing to wait in line for hours and hours on end is crazy
Cheers. Since posting, I think I’ve figured it out. I think Tokyo locals see the park more of a hangout place. Like we might go to a bar or cafe they go here. So waiting in line doesn’t matter as much. I dunno. It’s a thought.
Last April, I went to Tokyo Disneyland. Got in with early access so I was strolling to Beauty and the Beast. Then, I heard the pounding of feet behind me. I turned, and it was a HORDE of people running. The gates had opened. So I started running too. By the time I made it into the queue (also made the same mistake of heading to the entrance instead of the next land), the queue was 120 mins long. Long story short, RUN
I attended Disney/Epcot in Orlando in November 1996 and there was very minimal waiting, never more than a few minutes for anything and I never paid to lessen the waiting time‼️. However, after having seen this video. I never want to go to any of them again. I do not have the patience to wait in line, plan everything out as you did via an app for which you must pay to skip the lines‼️ I’m glad you were able to do this, but that’s not for me - Thanks for the heads up 🙏😱
Fyi: the crowd calendar isn't really accurate because it doesn't account for possible biases such as seasonal events and Space Mountain closing. These crowds aren't a 3; they're more of a 6 or 7. Big Thunder Mountain and Hunny Hunt being closed also really inflated the wait times because both have high capacity and are really popular. Another reason why the park was really crowded was because it's spring break and Tokyo Disney is mainly targetted towards young adults (high school/college age) and not young children. To really avoid crowds, it's best to check the Japanese school schedules for holidays and avoid weekends at all costs. We also made the mistake of going to USJ during a weekend and were unable to enter nintendoland. Lastly, just don't go to the park if Hunny Hunt is closed. TDL is also just not as good as DisneySea, so if you have one day, just go there instead.
Thanks. Yeah I did look into the spring break thing but the calendar does take that into account (it even mentions it and add 4000) and I searched for school and uni holiday dates and they were all later in February. Good point about closed rides adding wait times for other rides but I guess there are usually one of two closed rides but good point. PS. This was a Monday.
@@SuitcaseMonkey the park is a bit busier on Mondays and Fridays too. A bit offtopic, but it's honestly quite sad that such a nice park isn't so casual-friendly anymore. You used to be able to do so much more by running to the fastpass machines of the rides you want to skip the line for. The machines also added a bit more to the immersion of the place.
@idk-zt8rx thanks for the reply. Yeah I know but the weather was even worse on Tuesday unfortunately. And again the calendar had it as a 3 but appreciate it’s just a guess but all I had to go on. I mention about the immersion near the end. That is my point also. That it didn’t used to be and maybe shouldn’t be this difficult all in all lol
This is not correct. The Japanese crowd calendar he referenced in the video takes into account seasonal events and a huge number of other signals. It’s very accurate.
Your videos never fail to make me laugh!! Thank you for sharing your sense of humor! Excited to visit in October and mentally prepared for the crowds 😂
I've been to Disneyland 6 times between the late 90s and the early 2010s. I think that it was the best experiences possible and I (unfortunately) never want to go back
also when you enter the park you have to book, the free parade seating (so unlikely to get it). 40 th aniversary lineskip, priority line skip, entry request and lunch in that order also you do know you can go to rides after the fireworks they close at 10
Yeah but again as per my last message, I’ve been countless times to Disney before (like 15 times in total) so assumed this would be largely business as usual. That’s kinda the point of this whole video. Also, even if you’re right about the above, it shouldn’t be this difficult to visit a theme park.
This is the video i've been looking for, great narrative and gives a much clearer picture with all those timestamps. Thank you! It's missing a shop visit, to buy merch. What time would you suggest to visit the shops?
Thank you for the amazing video! It was incredibly entertaining and informative. I really appreciate the effort you put into creating content that is both enjoyable and educational. If possible, I’d love to see a video about Universal Studios as well. Keep up the great work! 😊👍
Thank you. I’ve been working on the universal video over the past few days. It’s more of a guide though for how Nintendo world entry works as it’s so insanely confusing as well as the rest of the park. Coming soon to our second channel @carryonmonkey
Well narrated video from the Magical Kingdom. We always have wonderful time there. Well worth the wait. (Tokyo) (Shanghai ) (Paris) (Anaheim) (Orlando). Judy, Looked what you missed. Sending you Best Wishes😀 🐭 to you and Judy from Jim and Harriet
Great video, easily the second best video I’ve ever watched about queuing at Disney (iykyk). Maybe not your intention but has absolutely convinced me not to go to Disney when I’m in Japan next year. Disney has such a problem now - I was at Disneyland Paris last year and found it so busy, but it was nowhere near this. They are simply allowing too many people into the park when it is like this. Considering how expensive Disney is, I would have been gutted to have this experience.
We only did Disney Sea and you really need at least a full day to get a proper image of the park. It was pretty busy. It was pretty great though! Mario Land timeslot was pretty late for us. Completely underestimated the waiting lines.
Man what a MESS. I’m so glad you posted this because I was torn if I should go there or not. Now I know that I will absolutely avoid it at all costs. And a 3/8???? Ooof. Too $$$ and too many people. Loved the storytelling.
Thanks for the video! I also appreciated the photo of you at the World of Motion post show “Transcenter” in front of the 1989 Oldsmobile Aerotech II. (I’m an Epcot nerd)
In my Japan trip I think I liked USJ better than Disney Sea. The rides were more exhilarating and shorter wait times. The waits are so long for the kid rides at Disney
Very nice video: indeed the parks have been getting worse with time, especially the wait times for food. Hopefully they find a way to improve the experience instead of focusing only on the prize$.
Hello, Sir! Can you book premier pass ahead of time? Like before the before the day of visit? Or should be on the day and on the site? Also, how many times should we purchase premier pass? Is it once or as per other attractions with premier pass indication?
Wonderful video! I am happy to be part of a growing 'Suitcase Monkey Youth' movement 😂. If it takes years, if not decades, of Disney Park experience/fandom to know how to make the most of this trip then I can only imagine what a dreadful experience this ends up being when going in cold for the first time - and then how exponentially worse it must be if it were a family with young children going for the first time. 😓 For this Suitcase Monkey destination I am extremely happy to watch this video, but will this time take a hard pass on participating myself.
I got the chance to go to Disney World once when my friend got off work and she had guest passes and in two hours she took me on 5 different but exciting rides at the Hollywood studios park, you definitely need somebody familiar or have a really good game plan to get the best out of Disney
I went to Disneyland in California the summer of 2018. Tomorrowland was stuffed shoulder to shoulder to the point that people couldn’t even walk anymore. Cast members (aka crowd control) arrived with lighted wands waving the crowds towards the exits and screaming “keep moving” over and over again. 20 minutes later we were free’d from my claustrophobic nightmare and I decided I would never go back. Magic lost.
I really love visiting Disney parks, love the immersion, the theming and “Disney bubble” but the heavy app use just pulls you out of all that. Having to micro manage your whole trip… it’s putting me off going and I’m a fan. Everyone always says how much better TDR is but it looks like it’s the same experience there. Really loved Efteling as it was so much more relaxed and so pretty and tidy.
Thank you. Please share with your Disney friends! The universal will more likely be a tips guide version compared to this one but I’m sure I will make it now
Enjoyable video. I'd love to see a video of Universal Studios. Just wondering if going to Disneyland or Disneysea worth it if you can't go on the rides?
Hey thanks. The USJ guide video is out already. It’s mostly around Super Nintendo World entry as that’s the confusing and best bit: th-cam.com/video/zYWVNDCuVis/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IMtOFprKEqNyKLbk I think it’s worth it as it’s relatively cheap to enter and the vibes are still fun.
When we went to Tokyo, we didn’t bother going to Disneyland. Instead, we went to Joypolis, where we can tour every single ride / attraction within a single day. I thank Disneyland for absorbing all the tourists so we can enjoy quick rides.
You make that 80 min queue for beauty and the beast I saw so short 😂 I went to splash mountain instead with a much shorter queue and did the Disney premier for beauty and beast later
Great video and narrating, I was really immersed. Just wanted to ask - as someone who has never been. Do you pay for entry to the park, and then also pay for the fast pass to enter attractions?
I'm going to Japan about 5 months from now. While I'll probably skip Tokyo Disneyland, a trip to DisneySea is likely. Your video has been informative nonetheless and I'm concerned about how much of the park I'll actually get to enjoy in a single day. Looks like I have some extensive planning to do. I'll be traveling alone, the park visit might be on a Monday, and it's the later half of November so I'm hoping crowds are not as big.
@@SuitcaseMonkey Oh yes, they just opened the new Fantasy Springs in DisneySea and I can't imagine the crowds now but maybe it'll be more manageable in 5 months? I do like a surprise but will be researching beforehand and planning what to ride, I'll just resist the urge to watch ride POV videos!
what a lovely video! I'm going to Tokyo Disneysea in a couple weeks, and I'm wondering if it's even worth it to get in line so early ...? Would you say your wife experienced a much worse line when she woke up to get into the park, or was it about the same? If it's not worth it to get there early I'd much rather get another hour of sleep!!
Hey. Oh sorry if it wasn’t clear but she never intended to visit. She’s not a fan! Ha. But I would recommend getting there early (if you can be bothered) I was able to see more because of it as the passes run out. My suggestion is arrive early, claim a free ticket and paid if you’re happy to as soon as you enter and ride whatever else you’re interested in while you wait for the passes to be active. I did go to Sea a few years ago and really enjoyed it (there’s a slightly out of date video on this channel) as it’s so unique. Let me know how it goes!
That busy on a Monday?! And it’s not a bank holiday?! :0 Looks like they need to reduce ticket numbers, either, what’s the point? Seems hellish to me. I don’t know if I could wait for more than 45mins. Those poor unfortunate souls! Wow, their Disneyland is on a whole other level experience wise. Incredible.

I think we only were able to ride 5 rides and watch the parade in Disneyland and only 6 rides in Disney sea … and these were almost only smaller rides like jungle cruise and pirates of the Caribbean…
My husband was so disappointed, that he booked for Disneyland Paris after our Japan vacation and now we are almost every year in Disneyland Paris 😂
Thank you for yet another fantastic video!
Yes! I’m also a fan of your storytelling 🎉
I’ll rewatch this before my next visit.. TDR and TDL are our favorites 🎢
We were there last summer, and did 20 rides in one day, plus all the parades, plus sitting down for two meals with basically zero wait time; lucky us and yes we used the DPA, and yes we also spent MONTHS planning about that in advance lol
Which month? I m planning august 1st week
But that's normally the beauty..." line haha, I see what you did there.)
Re: the experience itself, it's sad that while TDR still remains the supreme of all Disney parks, even there it is increasingly harder to experience one gate fully in one day.
However, it was still rather stressful being on the app all the time trying to optimise my family members experience and not wanting to let anyone down 😂😅
Thank you. Oh, the responsibility we planners have to our families and friends! 😝
The rides are good but they are not worth those wait times. Maybe if you are a big fan!
EXCELLENT video! Thoroughly enjoyed it! I was at Tokyo Disney last year and brought back A LOT of memories! Thanks for this video!
I watched video with my young daughter. While She enjoyed all Disney things in video, I enjoyed the funny & entertaining voice over (& also all Disney related stuff 🤫).
In your videos there everything for everyone.
Like a good Pixar movie! 🍿
Loved your video! Thanks for sharing, it is helping us to lower the expectations about Disney and we are motivated to planning more the next visit to Tokyo Disney. I'm hoping for your video about USJ. 😊
Thanks! The USJ guide video is out on our second channel th-cam.com/video/zYWVNDCuVis/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fKezZwoAY7QKxiZ7 Carry On Monkey
Hilarious video. We will make it there one day. Would love to see a Universal video 🙈
What a lovely and well produced video. Thanks for sharing. I'll be there in October, so your insights were helpful.
I know you suffered, but this was one of the funniest videos.😂😂.
Fantasy Springs will be craaaaaaazy!
I went on the Fantasy Springs opening day and just didn't go into Fantasy Springs. The rest of the park was great--light crowds!
Haha good strategy. Not sure I could resist tho!
You are amazing, such a great video and so well told 😅😂 speaking from experience, we just cracked up laughing the whole way through this seeing the sea of Japanese heads!
☺️
I do not have the patience to wait in line, plan everything out as you did via an app for which you must pay to skip the lines‼️
I’m glad you were able to do this, but that’s not for me - Thanks for the heads up 🙏😱
Fyi: the crowd calendar isn't really accurate because it doesn't account for possible biases such as seasonal events and Space Mountain closing.
I think that it was the best experiences possible and I (unfortunately) never want to go back
Hope you had fun! Disneysea is pretty fun!
Yeah disneysea would be my recommendation
also when you enter the park you have to book, the free parade seating (so unlikely to get it). 40 th aniversary lineskip, priority line skip, entry request and lunch in that order
also you do know you can go to rides after the fireworks they close at 10
Yeah but again as per my last message, I’ve been countless times to Disney before (like 15 times in total) so assumed this would be largely business as usual. That’s kinda the point of this whole video. Also, even if you’re right about the above, it shouldn’t be this difficult to visit a theme park.
This was sooo hilarious and I just loves how unique this Disney video was. 😂😂😂
Thanks! Yeah I tried to do something different compared to the 1,000,000 others out there 😊
This video was really well edited!!! Loved it and sad that the park was so busy when you went D:
This is the video i've been looking for, great narrative and gives a much clearer picture with all those timestamps. Thank you!
It's missing a shop visit, to buy merch. What time would you suggest to visit the shops?
Great video. Would love to see a video from Universal Japan, especially around wait times etc for Nintendo world! Thanks
My wife is not called Judy tho! 😝
@@SuitcaseMonkey So sorry , Is it Julia ?
No worries. It’s Chiaki.
Thanks although the silver lining is Disney in Japan is the cheapest one out there! Only £45!
The transformation of Beast still leaves me in awe and wonder. HOW DID THEY DO THAT?
Soooo good!
We only did Disney Sea and you really need at least a full day to get a proper image of the park. It was pretty busy. It was pretty great though! Mario Land timeslot was pretty late for us. Completely underestimated the waiting lines.
This is my favorite park day travel log ever
Glad you enjoyed!
yes to the universal studios video!
That was my first time at EPCOT!
These rides look incredible! And love your humour 😂
You know what.. I really missed Tokyo Disneyland during corona times 😢 Now there is an ungodly amount of people going there even on weekdays.
Thank you for a great video! Definitely would love to see your take on USJ.
Thanks. It may be more of a how to and then the things I enjoyed but noted thanks!
Thanks for great video! I am gladly subscribed to your channel. 😁😁😁
Was this a weekend ? Went on a Saturday everything was 3 hours. Just got on pirates then left.
It was a Monday
@@SuitcaseMonkey madness
In my Japan trip I think I liked USJ better than Disney Sea. The rides were more exhilarating and shorter wait times. The waits are so long for the kid rides at Disney
I had the same takeaway ultimately
Very nice video: indeed the parks have been getting worse with time, especially the wait times for food. Hopefully they find a way to improve the experience instead of focusing only on the prize$.
Your videos are always so helpful!! Please do a video on USJ!!!
Not sure I have any youth movement but appreciate the concept!
I got the chance to go to Disney World once when my friend got off work and she had guest passes and in two hours she took me on 5 different but exciting rides at the Hollywood studios park, you definitely need somebody familiar or have a really good game plan to get the best out of Disney
Nice job. Always appreciate your content. Heading to Porto and Madeira soon thanks to you.
Please make the Universal Osaka video! This was the most entertaining Tokyo Disney I’ve seen!
Thank you. Please share with your Disney friends! The universal will more likely be a tips guide version compared to this one but I’m sure I will make it now
@@SuitcaseMonkey hooray! I’ve shared it with my family. Thanks for making great content :)
@@XxDeadpool99xX Thank you so much
Enjoyable video. I'd love to see a video of Universal Studios. Just wondering if going to Disneyland or Disneysea worth it if you can't go on the rides?
Hey thanks. The USJ guide video is out already. It’s mostly around Super Nintendo World entry as that’s the confusing and best bit: th-cam.com/video/zYWVNDCuVis/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IMtOFprKEqNyKLbk
I think it’s worth it as it’s relatively cheap to enter and the vibes are still fun.
When we went to Tokyo, we didn’t bother going to Disneyland. Instead, we went to Joypolis, where we can tour every single ride / attraction within a single day. I thank Disneyland for absorbing all the tourists so we can enjoy quick rides.
Those lines look like a bit of a nightmare for me. I can only imagine this in Japan’s extreme humidity or rainy season…
Yeah I’ve heard peak summer can be a no-go
You make that 80 min queue for beauty and the beast I saw so short 😂 I went to splash mountain instead with a much shorter queue and did the Disney premier for beauty and beast later
Thanks for sharing. Would love to see your Universal studio video
Pls i want that universal video as well
If you liked Beauty & the Beast, you need to check out Symbolica at Efteling.
Yes!! I want to see a USJ video!!
Great video and narrating, I was really immersed.
Just wanted to ask - as someone who has never been. Do you pay for entry to the park, and then also pay for the fast pass to enter attractions?
Pay entry for park. Most attractions are free but you can pay to skip some rides. It used to be just pay for entry and everything was included.
im surprised they havent found away to sell you stuff or pay for something while standing in line 2 hrs a ride
Another great video. Would love to see Universal
Thanks. Universal guide is out on our second channel th-cam.com/video/zYWVNDCuVis/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DCU2qvx5rJoiaC0t
So you have to get the premier passes straight away ?
I'm going to Japan about 5 months from now. While I'll probably skip Tokyo Disneyland, a trip to DisneySea is likely. Your video has been informative nonetheless and I'm concerned about how much of the park I'll actually get to enjoy in a single day. Looks like I have some extensive planning to do. I'll be traveling alone, the park visit might be on a Monday, and it's the later half of November so I'm hoping crowds are not as big.
Disney sea is way more popular at the moment as a new area has opened up. Do the research to be best prepared or just go in blind and enjoy it!
I reckon it’ll continue to be popular for a few years but it’ll still be fun! It looks great!
can yu sitll go to disney sea and tokyo disney with the same ticket? or u need to buy 2?
2 tickets
what a lovely video!
Just curious, from last I went Splash Mountain had single rider, was that not an option anymore?
They weren’t allowing single rider in the park when I was there even tho I could see it was written on some of the lines.
If you only had time for Tokyo sea or Disney which would you recommend?
Also go Ally Mcbeal 😊
Disney Sea as it’s one of a kind
Can you tell me again what I nees to dowland and where tocpay to skip all the waiting time?
Is this a weekday or weekend? Or it is the same level of crowd whether it is weekday or weekend?
I went on a Saturday 3 hour waits for each ride fun times…..
Big Fan ❤
That busy on a Monday?! And it’s not a bank holiday?! :0
Looks like they need to reduce ticket numbers, either, what’s the point? Seems hellish to me. I don’t know if I could wait for more than 45mins. Those poor unfortunate souls!
Wow, their Disneyland is on a whole other level experience wise. Incredible.
My Japanese friend said that Mondays are usually busy for a weekday because large student groups on school trips tend to go there on Mondays.
@docvern7 yeah. Tuesday to Thursday are quietest. Then Monday. Then Friday.
I tried many times to book the ticket through the app ,but each transaction got rejected.from out side Japan.
