Yeah, sometimes it gets stuck on the Update screen when you try to power it off. I just always tick the "update before powering off" option on the sleep/reboot screen. It can cause a temporary burn in effect, but so far this has only lasted a few hours at most once I started using it again.
That’s awful, I didn’t know that could happen. I hope that burn goes away. There’s nothing Meta can do to prevent that? Chargers are set so the headsets don’t overcharge, why not have something to prevent that burn? But thank you so much for that information!
I had a panic when I thought I had a burn-in in update 68 I think. I thought oh shit, then I thought how come ? This isn’t OLED. Anyway, it faded away after an hour or so, so hopefully it will be fine for you
I have never turned off my headsets since I bought the Oculus Go back in the day. However, I always have an external battery pack connected, so the headset is constantly charged through the external battery.
Great video My quest 3S is downloading a software update. And it's been doing it for over two hours. When I look at it it still says downloading update and than will shut off How long does that update take? I'm worried

@@Eagledocstew they want you to not turn off your headset so you can be updated but now I see the risk you take
@ Right! If Meta wants us not to turn off our headsets then they need to make some sort of safeguard so we can leave our headsets on

Also 90% of people who have updated to v71 don't actually even have any of the v71 features... Shm.
Ps. Turn off your auto tune 😂
@@jzenism it’s like having updates inside of updates it took a while to get the new features
I'm on V71 and I can confirm that there's nothing New... 😢
@@BertyGamer you are not yet worthy of the new features! 😞
@ yeah it took a while after being on V71 to get another update on v71 for the new feature
@@backtoreality8556 what do u mean by "it took a while"?
