Just found this movie searching for "Chi Mai" song. What can I say?... It's fantastic!!!. Congratullations!. You got the original movie spirit, and did in 10 minutes a brilliant work. Just one detail... Josselin Beaumont would have expected Rosen to draw the gun first.
+ThatSecondGuy Canon eos kit lens: 18-135 stm (f3.5) and the "nifty fifty" 50mm f1.8. Cheap, but effective :) Could be a bit sharper though... Ok a lot...
+Ariel G thanks! To be completely honest, i can't remember haha. My card was too slow to use a higher bitrate. Probably only for the histogram or to shoot at 1/48 shutter speed in stead of 1/50. RAW didn't work for me.
Amazing Cinematography !!!! Just loved it ! How did you shoot that palace from Ariel view !!!??? was that a clip taken from internet ? and wat about the effects ? which software ?
That aerial shot was some google maps and Adobe After Effects trickery ;) The other effects were also done in after effects. Even the gun didn't have real blowback lol.
Well, it miss 2 things : when N'Jala try to kill Beaumont with his own revolver, and is shot down by Farges, and of course the last scene when Beaumont is shot down. Modern directors don't like a sad ending and it's a shame. Most of the time, it's a happy ending, and when directors don't want a happy ending, they always do a "what people want" ending just like you. I don't like this kind of ending because when I watch a movie, I want the director show me ALL the story, not 99.9% and 0.1% is my imagination. There should way more sad ending, because life isn't always happy. And a sad ending isn't a bad ending. In Le Professionnel, the ending is very cool : the minister asking "what can we do", "we can shoot him or let him go, Sir", "Stop him", "is it an order ?", "I give you the order to stop him" and bang bang bang bang
Tu sais, si on devait tourner un film et jouer en allemand, je pense que ça serait pareil. Pour moi, ça se limite à "Bringen sie mir Fegelein ! Fegelein ! Fegelein ! Fegelein!"
the people in switzerland which speak french seem to really not like it, when people can't talk french that well and they just act like a fool as if they wouldn't really understand what they're saying... is this a thing for all french people actually?
Awesome short, this was really well done! Paris is a lovely city, I was there recently & I made a couple videos while i was there, mind checking them out? Cheers mate, keep up the good work.
I have yet to figure out this blague, and blague it is: no one and nothng here could be this silly, everyone is putting this on: quite seriously, are you ever going to tell us what this is about? If this is a school project to get these guys a paid trip to Paris, well then I understand the mockery. The fake accents are all on purpose, the stilted acting is all directed, the script is a take on a serious French spy film, I just don't know which one...et toi, ZEAGLE, plus fou que les acteurs.

+farhan qureshi yes :) very useful 'hack'.
May I ask what did you use it for? Did you record this RAW or in H.264 tweaking the bitrate? This looks incredible. Thank you.
