OUTSTANDING VIDEO! SO helpful! Thanks for the direction and support, guys PS - a link to the vacuum tool would be helpful. I don't see the one you're using on the website. Probably user error on my part. 🥴
Great video Mike. The clear explanations as you work through the job really help me understand ‘why’ as well as just the ‘what’. Excellent work, please keep making these on the EA113 BWA/BPY engine. Quick question: if I’m going to use the vacuum filler tool (or similar) at home, what is the minimum spec of compressor I would need in terms of flowrate and pressure rating?
I would love to see you replace an ABS ECU from VW/Audi, mine is located on the right side of the motor under the windshield closed to the FAP ... 😭😭 The car is working great, just i don't have abs/esp ...
Hi i have a question, not to this car, but the BMW F30 N20 Engines, they made a revised timing chain guide, which is white, original faulty one was brown, say this was replaced with the new white one, after 15k miles ish would the chain guide change colour to dark brown, or what colour would you say it would be, i bought a car a while back that has receipts that timing chain was done, but the guide is dark brown, so im trying to figure out if they actually changed the timing chain or just made fake receipt
With about 15k miles, there should be at least three oil changes; if done at that rate and on time, the guides should not be dark brown. A little tinted from the oil is fine, but they should still show to look newish.
@fcpeuro It would be very appreciative, as many Q7 user are having issues doing this so called simple job. But it seems like it's a special tool that's needed as the 45 degrees left turn to take this part our is not happening. Not for me anyways!

Thank you for watching!! I have a very small pancake compressor at home that can work with this tool, 0.8 hp, 2.6 cfm @ 90 psi.
I'm curious if the alternator is original considering the mileage on the car.
Wow. That is a pro video. Well done. Great help.
Big big thanks I used your way and it was very helpful
Thanks again 🙏
