A heat gun works well to heat up the plastic to reform to the shape needed. Like that weird gap in the one side. I heat up the plastic and use wood to repair that gap. It will melt down really well with some practice at reforming and plastic welding. I also rivet the plastic to the steel pipes and to attach small hinges and shutters. Great mind's think alike.
hey people, really appreciate all the views and comments this is my most popular vid so far 😊, im thinking of making a sellable option available for northland delivery/newzealand if i get enough interest... any takers? it will be an improved version but basically the same thing. whos keen?
Love it.. thinking I would have left a 12” gap or so at the top and bottom to let air circulate, help prevent mildew and or mold. Or maybe add a rv ( caravan) roof vent, or both
That is pretty genius. I am thinking about building 2 for off grid living. One shower, one natures head composting toilet. Then covering the outside with sheeting. Foam insulation the inside.
nice outdoor shower! can a water tank (100-120-200 l, sun heated or with internal heating elements for hot water) be somehow placed on the roof of this shower cabin? will the metal cage be strong enough to bear additional weight?
haven't seen any as iv sold each one iv made, but i do use hardwood and treated timber that i seal with a stain on them now, if they are maintained id imagine a long time, cheers
i could build one and deliver it if ya like, now i know how to do it, its fairly straightforward but yeh if your keen email me gary.c.stevenson@gmail.com cheers
Aww shit I didn't see your reply damnit. I've got someone to cut the ibc tanks already. I haven't got any of the left over plastic to make the door. I am a really amateur DIY learn off TH-cam builder hahaha.
G'day mate, really awesome. Definitely going to make one of these for my camp. God bless you. 🦘👍
Love it. I’ve already built an outdoor solar shower that I love….but this makes me want to build another out of IBC! Absolutely love it!
amazing, especially the door 🚪
thanks very much, you shoud see the latest model😃
Your ibc shower looks awesome bro

Great idea, perfect job, I have 100 acre of land and I think it would be a good idea to have one of those, thanks my friend.
Far out, great job mate, the missus will be happy 👍
cheers James ws a good project👍
Best shower design i was happy to use it daily.

If I had of read this message before, I would have asked you how much the ibc shower would cost
Awesome.e, we've just moved into our self built cabin. Now to build this . Thanks for the video
great, glad i helps, make sure to watch the latest vid i explain things a bit better😃

it has a vent, the top ibc is upside down so the drain can be opened to be the vent, plus the door is well vented, thanks for your comment😃
Well done. I really like it!

nice find the ones build from square pipe they look better and easier to work with
You’re Not an Idiot, not stupid, Stop saying that… You did a great job, Nice idea.
Very cool mate ! 👍
Screw some stained wooden boards on that lip inside and you have shelves for shampoos, lotions, & such.
check the latest iteration my friend the shelf is on point now
Viele Grüsse aus Deutschland.Sehr gute Arbeit. Sobald ich solche Fässer aufgetrieben habe lege ich auch los.
wicked idea bro.

hi dimash, cheers um probably not to much weight as its lost alot of its strength cutting the door out but maybe a 100kg woukd be ok
Awesome job bro!! Super innovative :)
thanks sis 😎
I also build my stand up hunting blind out of these totes and other useful farm and home item's from them.
Excellent !!!
thanks, glad you like it 😊
What about the edges inside what is your plan ,would have loved to see the finished edges ,over all well done ,bud 🎉
hi ian, have a look at my latest video it should help, or next weeks one where i do the shelf and finish it👍
Great idea and nice build. Question, what brand of tablerouter are you using?
thanks ebel, not a table router just a dewalt table saw , tad inefficient but it worked😎
Hi, will a 6”4 person stand inside there ok?
hi darren not this version but i just figured a way to solve that issue, stay tuned for the next build....
Wicked me bruddah - You forgot to add an ext padlock so when the misses jumps in you can lock her in there and get some quality down time for once 😅
Hey mate. How much wood water damage have you seen in the 3 years since you built this?
haven't seen any as iv sold each one iv made, but i do use hardwood and treated timber that i seal with a stain on them now, if they are maintained id imagine a long time, cheers
? Doyou think enough light would suffice for plants using two IBC totes as in a mini green house.
hi gene good question, im not sure the plastic is about 4 mm thick on average only way is to give it a go i guess😁
@@omnibuildersnz thanks I'll give a try
Perfekt
Where in nz are you living mate?

@@omnibuildersnz oh ok. I'm wanting someone to build me one of those in Tauranga
i could build one and deliver it if ya like, now i know how to do it, its fairly straightforward but yeh if your keen email me gary.c.stevenson@gmail.com cheers

hi kevin, i find 760-780 mm wide works really well and 1800mm high have thought of going higher but still trying it out to see, good luck 😃
what is the height on the inside
about 1.8 meters, but i just had a epiphany stay tuned to the next vid
