Thats woundful! So if the string comes off the lock that goes in the shower you will literally be locked in the shower (with a reinforced steel cage!) and unable to ever get out! 😮
That's cool how you do that
thanks sam, new video coming soon
That's cool make a shower out of them
haha sarcasm 😅
Frieda Fall
What size are the totes you normally use? I'm thinking about making an outdoor shower because of an upcoming bathroom remodel myself. I can find 275 and 300 gallon versions. I'm thinking the 300s just to be safe but I'm not sure. I'm 5'11" tall and I would be the tallest person using it.
im not sure gallon wise but i use 1000litre tanks which are 1.2x1x1 meters hope my vids help ya on your build, cheers
Bro. You talk too much.
thanks, appreciate the feedback
Screw some stained wooden boards on that lip inside and you have shelves for shampoos, lotions, & such.
check the latest iteration my friend the shelf is on point now
Oh yes they have done it! Just not crowing about it, seemed like the obvious thing to do, surprised they're not all done with the centre filler.
haha yes i agree, how it took me this long to do it i dunno, just whole extra ibc is all, but they are cheap so no problem
Hey mate. How much wood water damage have you seen in the 3 years since you built this?
haven't seen any as iv sold each one iv made, but i do use hardwood and treated timber that i seal with a stain on them now, if they are maintained id imagine a long time, cheers
how did the ouches fit this belt?
its all shown in the video my friend, cheers
Love the sleeve idea.
Thank you! 😊
thankyou mate, was a ureka moment
This is awesome. I'm about to build one. About to watch the how to put them together and the door build / install videos :-)
sweet check my latest short iv improved the design, new vid coming soon
why u gotta target us hilux guys oi hahaha, na congrats on the 1k bruv, well deserved
Good to see you added a empty beverage holder behind the passengers seat like me. The can hide a few depending on what sort of day it was...😅
Great shower, but too much talking and bouncing around with camera! Could have finished shower if all that was edited out!
Fack yeah
Bro that digger down the side of the house was tiiight lol, gonna be a dope deck tho ay
yip suuuper tight!!!! very relieved to have him, as was alot of ground works!! yip into the fun stuff now, the deck gets its skin lol
got a video for plumbing?
do you mean how its hooked up to plumbing? only really on one of the first vids i had the 1 i used for my renovation, i had the waste running to a gully trap outside with the hot and cold from the house connected by a plumber, but now it runs via a califont and waste can go to anything, cheers
@@omnibuildersnz more like how its hooked up out of a house. like water supply (ideas) heating, waste or disposal. if not its a good topic for video
ok yeah there is a short vid where i show how the califont works
I've been subscribed to your channel a while now and enjoy watching your stuff. I'm a flooing installer in the Wairarapa and do a reasonable amount of timber and laminate among other things. Use the same miter saw and slightly smaller table saw and its cool to see you can nicely do that sort of work with this gear.
thanks brad, appreciate your viewership 😃 yes it took a bit more effort than it would with nicer gear but great results none yhe less, dewalt is great kit🤙
Recently got given a buckeroo belt and chucked my Taurus pouches on. Full recommend. Gonna get the suspenders next
is that the back support belt? honestly its saved my back ay mate, good score for free 🤙
@@omnibuildersnz yeah bro just the standard one not the extra thick one. Def would recommend to anyone running Taurus. Picking up some suspenders tomorrow, tried some on today, def instantly feels better than not running them
What timber are your columns? 90x90 H3?
135x135 glulams
That's a dope verandah
hit the like please!!!!!
Saw your van at placies in Akl thought you must have moved up here?
i did yes haha
uou😅😅😅😅
Bro credit due! Hard work pays off ay. When r we goin' on our island getaway haha
Sneaky lol. Hope it’s going good there.
what is the height on the inside
about 1.8 meters, but i just had a epiphany stay tuned to the next vid
whoops!!! did i say waitangi? face palm!!!! apologies 😅
Love for the woods in puerto rico
Hi, will a 6”4 person stand inside there ok?
hi darren not this version but i just figured a way to solve that issue, stay tuned for the next build....
Hey bro nice vid, just wondering will the buckeroo suspender fit on a normal Taurus leather belt.
Or do you need to buy the belt as well..
hey, glad you liked it 😃 you mean just the suspenders? im sure they would but you would neet to adapt it a bit like add some clips or something, best of luck😊
i have no idea what I'm looking at😅
haha neither did i 😂😂 made it work though haha
For a garage space, I love the lighting and the interesting block texture on the walls. The drop-down racks are a good idea.
yes the house is quite a masterpiece this garage is just the start 😊
Good stuff man, love ya videos
thankyou mate!!
more of them for a easier pull and less stress on them
thankyou! yes have since researched and have a plan of action for next time😁
Nice set up and great deck job. Interesting comment about the Covid times. It was relaxing at first but super hard to get started again. Living through Renos is a challenging activity every day.
congrats dude
What area of NZ are you in? and what's the buy price on one of these?
hey antony, im in auckland, price with califont all ready to plug in and go to $2200 incl gst. have it on trade me and facebook marketplace
I wish I could buy one here in the states.
I've just made one with an attached changing room. Instead of the ledge, i used a heat gun to fold down the top one and pop riveted it to the bottom so the sides are smooth.
Excellent !!!
thanks, glad you like it 😊
Beautiful !!!
appreciate that, cheers
Hello! I have a question. How does someone even begin to learn how to do all of this as a person with no experience whatsoever? This looks so fun and cool to build? But i have no skill that would help me do it!
Buy basic tools and do small projects that are useful to you and watch lots of videos
hi, thanks for your question, yes it is a little technical but possible for anyone if you take the time, plan and above all dont rush, just step by step😊 thats how i learnt 😉
I love to live and to work barefoot too as much as possible
haha yes my ppe is somewhat laking from time to time 😅
Man I want to do building.
get it bro! 😃
Love it.. thinking I would have left a 12” gap or so at the top and bottom to let air circulate, help prevent mildew and or mold. Or maybe add a rv ( caravan) roof vent, or both
it has a vent, the top ibc is upside down so the drain can be opened to be the vent, plus the door is well vented, thanks for your comment😃
sheesh
Show us a picture and expect us to understand why??!! Explain fukker!!
Make sure you don't get trapped in that thing with the girl next door, and then sprung by your missus😂
