I love the red booties but being short, with a longer torso and shorter legs I have always thought shoes should match pants, skirts, stockings or wear a nude color. I want a pair of red flats so much but have refrained from a purchase because I am afraid they will make my legs look shorter. I appreciate and love all your advice. Thank You
@DollJewel Every time I ordered on-line, it wasn’t a good fit. I rather go in the store to try them on first. I can’t wait for our lockdown to be over.

I do have a quick question though as I have the hardest time finding a good trench coat that fits my 5’2”, shoulders wider than hip frame. Any recommendations on where to shop for a classic trench coat? I love the fit of the one you have on with the white skirt. 😍
I have had great ones from Banana Republic petites over the years for a very reasonable price! London Fog and Brooks Brothers make high quality pieces in petite sizes too!

Thanks for the video, Chi. The problem I always have with ankle booties is that the leg opening is waaaaay too big for my ultra-thin ankles. I know sock booties are one way to overcome this, but I live in a rainy and cooler climate so my boots also need to be warmer and waterproof. Because of this, I don't have a wide selection of boots to choose from. I do wear short hunter boots which my slim jeans always fit into, but am always on the search for a chic, dressier ankle boot I could wear daily especially during the fall/winter/spring. Any suggestions on brands that make ankle booties for skinny legged gals like me would be helpful.
I hear you- there’s much fewer options fir water proof booties. I have some from Aquatalia and Taryn Rose and they work well for smaller ankles and are water proof.
If you could please hold posese a few seconds longer than you are currently. It’ll help illustrate your points better (since I won’t be so distracted by the frequent movement)

Thank you Tatiana! Glad you find it helpful. I put all the outerwear in the closet by the door- I don't wash them after every wear since they need dry clean. As for the sweaters etc I wear underneath, since they weren't "exposed" when I was out, I care for them the regular way.

I have so many boots of all kinds that I cant even remember what I own! Ankle boots are my favourites though. I see that you have a few pair of boots with the 'v' cut outs at the sides. How do you find wearing them as they dont look as if they give any support to the ankle which is why I have avoided them. I'd be curious to hear what others have to say about them too.

I hardly need anymore boots, especially ankle boots but it is summer in Australia and they are being sold at tremendous prices for great quality imported stock from Europe and honestly, who can resist! I love those tasseled black ankle books with the slight heel you have, they look amazing.

I didn’t feel like the v cut made any difference in terms of supporting my feet. They made styling them easier, actually.

Hi Teri- I actually do have wider feet but I still wear pointy toe shoes (make sure the leather is soft), and yes, they still make you look taller!
