I have this headlamp and it is by far my go to headlamp. I have several headlamps and probably no reason to have as many I do. Out of all the ones I have and use this is by far my favorite. Y'alls really made an excellent little light with this one.
I would have appreciated it if you had mentioned how long it takes (generally speaking) to recharge from close to empty. If totally empty, how long would it take to recharge the light?
Apart from using the headband, instead clip the Nebo Mycro on to your watch strap, close to your watch - the lamp can very easily be tilted! Now you'll have a most versatile light - on your wrist, shining exactly where you need it! 👍
probably defect. i was confused also why it kept turning off after unpacking, then read here its not charged. weird but i guess it does have auto tunr off to prevent overdraining the battery since its rechargable. anyways it should light up red when charging, and mine wasnt even charged after like 10 minutes but it seems to have solved the problem and stays on, with just a little bit of juice. idk maybe check your chraging box. overall doesnt look like everlasting product
Was about to post a negative comment but the way you recharge is by pulling the rubber thingy away on the right side (looking at the lamp.) Then hook it up to the usb charge cord, obviously. Hopefully this solves the cut-off after 10 seconds problem, which didn't happen until I had used it for some time.
I like the size of the headlamp and the brightness is okay as well as the color of the light. I only wish it would last longer, maybe 2 hours on 150 lumens? This light usually runs out of battery and I'm always reaching for my Amazon headlamp
@@robertsandiford6223 yup. Sometimes I put the cable and does it nice but sometimes is like some seconds after is off. I don't know if is a double connection thing or if it's just a mechanical issue.

Got one today in Millets. Nice small size, light weight for jogging but it strobes so much! Also USB-B socket is old fashioned and they fail on every device i have ever owned. USB C would have been what I would expect in 2023. Green and red LEDs are pretty useless /pointless.
I don't get how to turn the Nebo headlamp on. That's why I'm the only one to give it a thumbs down . The guy didn't explain that ( in my mind ) I think he's talking about the on-off switch is on the end of the machine opposite end of the charging port. There's a rubber topping and then a space below it. Not sure if I'm missing parts but when I push it nothing happens ; light does not turn on
Im pretty convinced it doesnt and this device is a scam that even bass pro bought into. Follow the instructions? It just turns off. The only setting is red.
Almost broke my scissors and stopped when I searched how to open this package. Geez! Once the layers are peeled, then trying to get the headlight removed from the plastic is another setback as I feel like it could break trying to release this. It’s ridiculous how secure this packaging is. Someone elderly like me find opening products like this challenging as I don’t always want to have to wait for someone to come to my house to assist. Ugh! Again ridiculous packaging!

The design of the button logic is terrible. it would have been SO MUCH BETTER if a short press just turned it off and on, and hold it to change modes. Instead when you turn it on, you have to wait several seconds before you turn it off again else it puts it on the wrong mode. I don't suppose you can put in new firmware via that USB port?
You can half or more !! The distance.. the last light mode is useless unless you was in a pitch black cave, also the green and red are useless.. not very bright in any mode other than turbo 400 lumens which is the main sales pitch on the package, not until you read the small print you find out this is a 30 second battery killer.. my rating as I own one is 5/10
Defective straight out of the box. Dont buy it. Its easier to change temps on my vape than it is to just try to change the setting. But plot twist... it doesnt actually change. It just turns off.

A headlamp with only 150 lumens is not very bright and will likely be used at that setting all the time. The lower settings might as well basically in off mode. And with only an hour of life and then having to find a power source to recharge it before use again instead of being able to swap out batteries instantly makes the light useless. And if you use turbo mode expect the hour run time to even less. You would spend more time charging it than using it. And when the battery degrades you might as well toss the light out.
@@AS-cv4qz Costco has a 3 pack upgraded Duracell headband lights 550 lumens on sale for like $15.00 with batteries. They are adjustable down to 100 lumens with multiple different modes like spot, flood and side of which you can choose combined settings also. You can have a 30 degree spotlight or 220 degree broadview to the sides and it has a down light to light up yourself or the ground at your feet. And it also has a red light. Should check them out.
@@AS-cv4qz What do you do when you run out of charge in the middle of something? Or what do you do when the battery degrades? If you gotta carry an external battery pack and charger cable, you might as well carry spare batteries you can just swap out and be up and running again vs sitting around for and hour or two waiting to charge up your light very hour or two. Or what if you forgot to charge it up before using it? Not trying to knock on your choices. Different strokes for different folks. 🙂
@@bubbalo3388 I don’t need extra batteries/juice for my application Manufacture spec is more then enough for what I need It for plus I come prepared and charged all the time Batteries create unnecessary pollution if you can just simply recharge it same as everyday use devices like phones watches etc. light water resistant small just perfect what I need it for
Absolute garbage. The battery last 20 minutes on a full charge. I had my first replaced under warranty, second one was the same. Great idea, horrific performance.
Got one for Christmas through Heinne Haynes. Very impressed for the size. Great build quality. Used mainly for dog walking and camping. Good job Nebo.

This seems like a great head torch. A battery level indicator would be great nothing worse than being out on a run and the battery dying on you

Mine(mycro) will not stay on longer than 10 seconds in any mode, even the green/red..any trouble shooting would be appreciated 🤷♂️...

I just got the Nebo emergency kit which had this item in it as well it has usb-c yours didn’t?
I agree on the need for USB-C. Micro isn’t common anymore. If the unit is powering down after 10 seconds it likely needs a full charge?

the red is for viewing at night. its not useless. its most likely inxorporated for military
The only thing that makes this lamp a terrible item is that the little plastic part that holds the body in angle breaks real easily.
