well in terms of raw mechanics mrekk is way better than shige that's for sure but like mastery over his own mechanics and technical ability then mrekk still has a long way to go although with his injuries, shige wasn't that consistent sometimes also

He temporarily left to japan iirc, maybe somewhere else, but he left to avoid the service, but returned as his familly lives there, and if he ever wanted to return to korea he'd have to serve anyways... so yeah, he is currently in the military. Which i just checked and it's 18 months of service, so should be coming to an end if it hasn't, but I dunno when he enlisted etc so we'll just have to wait, and then see if he even returns to osu!
