I know I was cheating but tonight I cooked my first ever chicken curry using my trangia 25 indoors so no rain and wind and a constant temperature with the aid of the simmer ring I managed to achieve a two hour burn time, so I was very impressed…. And yes it was hot and edible.
Morning Paul. I just felt that for this dish, it would give me a little more control over the burn rather than the spirit burner. Sometimes, even with the simmer ring, I feel the spirit burner runs too hot and is difficult to get subtle changes in temp I felt I needed here. Hope this makes sense 👍
Great video buddy 🔥
Cheers buddy 👍
Looked good, but this is the reason why I've almost retired my 27 and mainly use my 25. I can never keep recipes small enough to fit the 27.
I am always spilling things out of the 27. I think I need to remember that I am only cooking for 1 person 😄 👍
👍🏻👍🏻😋

Hiya Dave great as usual, any reasoning behind the gas as opposed the the spirit burner...
