I found that using a python with 5 class 3 fragmentation cannon with double shot and incendiary rounds is faster. I think you can kill an anaconda in about 13-15sec if you don't miss.
My best bountyhunting build at the moment: a chieftain (shieldtanked with a lot of guardian shield reinforcements - total 1600 mj) with 2 large, fixed efficient beams thermal vented and 4 railguns (1 medium, 3 small).
This is a fun build. But I wonder how much different a non-power play variant would perform. Not having either of those weapons it would take a lot of time just waiting to buy a pair of different weapons. If I had to pick one of the two. I'd go after the pacifiers before the cytoscrambler. That hit spread is nice.
If you're making a close range build, the Cytos aren't really necessary. They're just a bit of a gimmick weapon. You could put 5 normal fixed frags on the Chief instead, all Overcharged with a mix of Incendiary Rounds to shred the shields, Oversized for more punch, and Drag Munitions to stop ships getting away so much. Stick a corrosive multicannon in the bottom hardpoint to apply the acid and the thing shreds ships in no time. While being way more ammo efficient.
the build seems to be loading weird in coriolis. it shows the dps of the pacifiers as 216, but if i reset and reload the exact same engineering then its 326. the "burst", "burst rate of fire", and "damage" stats are all very different.
and you do not mind that the rank of Anaconda is only a master, and this is a pirate who does not have any case amplifiers or module amplifiers, you try to destroy someone in a high-tension conflict in 22 seconds
So what do you all think about a Fer-de-Lance with 4 cytoscramblers g4 rapid fire to wreck shields, and then just a fixed huge cannon to take out PP? Or perhaps Plasma Accelerator in place of the Cannon?
Wow. Great build. Very impressive, keen to know more about the config. My son and I watched your video just now. He flies the Cutter and I fly the Corvette, we are both keen Elite Dangerous gamers.
Destroyed fast? You realize this guy is fighting npc’s? I could destroy him in my anaconda, in fact my fighter would hurt him first before he ever saw me, and then I would just finish him off

Hey #Down to Earth Astronomy. I'm returning to the game and was wondering if making money with passengers still good? I can't remember the name of the galaxy but you can fly from one station to another and just keep on repeating. Thanks!
It's kinda cool, although IMO the Advanced Accelerators work better than the Pacifiers. Two things confuse me about this build though. First, I don't get why you made it a hull tank when the Chief can be shield tanked probably the best of all the Medium Alliance ships. Mine has almost 1400Mj Bi-Weave shields with just under 58% Kinetic/Thermal Resistances and just under 65% Explosive. All that weight is slowing you down. I made your build in coriolis and power isn't an issue, so I'm not sure why you'd choose to hull tank it. Second, it seems like you're negating the point of the Pacifiers by making it a super close range build with the Cytoscramblers. The tighter spread on the Pacifiers means they're more medium range weapons, but by limiting the range on your lasers to 500m, you have to get almost up a ship's backside before you can fire. Which makes the selling point of the Pacifiers kind of moot. And you'd get more damage with normal frags. But hey, if it works for you, that's great. :) I don't tend to follow the philosophy of using certain weapons for certain parts of a ship, because I always feel like when a weapon isn't firing, it's wasting DPS, so I try to make every weapon capable of doing everything. But I can see what you were going for. :)
You need to have pledged for the Pacifiers as well. So that adds even more time to the build unless you've already pledged them both and bought a bunch of each.
Pacifier robs you off of DPS in that situation and is a PP module so not really ideal foreverybody. Measuring contest? Little sexist don’t you think? I’d like to call it competition, where you’re not guaranteed a win and instant gratification every time. But let’s label each other instead of addressing the statement I️ made. D2E has never made any viable PvP streams, and it’s repetitive to see more of the same.
@@mikedimimd Some players are PvE players, and have no interest in PvP. It's the reason Elite doesn't have Open only, as much as the PvPers in the game wish it did.
Also, I never said any particular body part was being measured. No need to get defensive. Call it a skill measuring competition if you like. It amounts to the same thing. Proving you're better than someone else. Not everyone who plays the game is into that. Not everyone wants to compete with other people.
If PvP players aren't interested in PvE content, there are a load of youtubers out there who make videos of them engaging in said PvP content, or blowing up hapless newbies. Whichever takes your fancy. Different strokes for different folks.
