I had the pleasure of working in this town about 12 years ago for work. Stayed for about 6 months. One of the best places I’ve ever worked in the country. Excellent people.
Been commuting through it for years. Great food. This spot is 20 minutes from me. If they didn't close so early I'd head there now after this video lol
I'm late to seeing this video, but Little City Pizza was the best pizza I've ever eaten. We used to live in the area and had the pleasure of eating at Will's establishment when they first opened (Simsbury location). We later moved to the shoreline and I've eaten at a couple of Frank's locations, and it paled in comparison. Little City had the finest ingredients (e.g., small cupping pepperoni, great hamburger/meatball recipe - whatever they called it, great sauce, great cheese blend...and their mashed potato and cajun pizzas were two of my favorites). I don't know if quality went down or what happened, but as soon as I saw Dave pick up the slice in this video and saw it "flop" I knew that something was off...the Little City pizza I remember had a very crisp/stiff crust. A fresh slice like that should have stood pretty firm when picked up, unless it was overloaded with toppings (Dave's was just cheese, so that's not the case here). Anyway, it's unfortunate that Dave didn't get one of their pizza's made/ready the way Will intended, as they were when he first opened up his place and was personally running the kitchen (hopefully he still is, and was out the day Dave came to visit). PS: Will, if you see this and still own Little City (or even if you don't), please open up a pizza place near Niantic, CT.
