Twice-baked French fries and matchstick fries are great. Freeze solid and bake to soft-crispy outer texture. Pull out and let cool down. Then re-bake providing the extreme crispy outer texture, while the inside now cooks up to temperature. Crispy crunchy fries and matchsticks.
Did you mean crushed potato chips or instant potatoes ?… I use both for breading all the time( plus crushed fried “bacon rinds”, I cannot remember what the store calls them,we made them from the butchered pig skins)…plus if you toss them hot with cinnamon sugar,you do not taste any other flavor but crunchy puffed cinnamon sugar treats!… You tend to use what you have on a farm👍💪🤗….plus bacon rinds do not have a real flavor to me just a yummy warm crunch,when we make them fresh!❤

Great recipes. I like that hotdog bun with ground beef and I'd eat the yogurt pie for breakfast. Why didn't you spray the seaweed bites with some oil? I would.
@DigsRetro Different texture. You can duplicate it or get very close by straining cottage cheese in a fine mesh colander overnight. To get it a little extra dry dump it out onto a paper towel and gently pat dry.
2:10 every time I get fancy like you with cracking eggs, I get more egg shell in the recipe than I want, so I have had to slow down and concentrate on what I am doing...LOL!
Just today, after watching this, about the PORK BELLY, I've finally went down and bought me a piece of Pork Belly, and have it marinating right now.... going to be cooking it up "TOMORROW"! Leave it marinate over night.....24+ hrs. I hope it comes out good. Also, because it's PORK, I'm gonna cook it a bit longer than what you folks did.... / I do the same with "C-kin"!!

Nope,it cuts down the air flow from the sides and is less crispy…Air fryer was not designed to block the hot air movement😬.. …..Way easy to clean anyway just run hot or hot soapy water over it immediately… Most or all have non stick basket surfaces on it any way! …I grew up on a farm,this is way easier than many kitchen clean ups we had there😂
@@kathysunshine699Depends on what you use. There are perforated ones. And the silicone liner works fine in the dual zone air fryers since top and bottom are heated.
I’m confused on the slicing of the pork. I’ve watched the video several times, and in the beginning it looks like you’ve slicked the soft side of the meat, yet when finished cooking, it looks like the skin (crispy) side was sliced. This will make a huge difference in the final result,would someone clear this up for me? I’m ready to go on the recipe, just want to do it correctly.
If I had only seen this video earlier in the day!! I would have tossed the pork belly into the air fryer instead of braising it, 😮💨! Oh well, next time!
