How cool! I will confess that as a huge bibliophile it did hurt a little watching you pull that gorgeous book apart 😯, but I love your junk journals and am looking forward to watching the process all the way through to what I know is a gorgeous end result! The content you create and so graciously share with us is fabulous! Thank you Dawn Michelle!

Not just this cover, but also the book block is so gorgeous! Oh, that gilding and illustrations, i would definitely keep that block and would bind in different book cover, to save those pages as a book )) with golden cover or fabric cover, imagine...? ))
That is a fantastic idea! I actually use several of the pages in the journal because they are so wonderful but I do have a second copy of this book, which will always stay in one piece because it's gorgeous! 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️
This is just so beautiful, I’ve purchased books to use the pages & images in my journaling, but I’ve never thought of using the actual covers so I will definitely give this ago in the future 🖤 Your junk journals are stunning 🖤

20 minutos para sacar la tapa y pegar un trozo de lazo. Brillante...
why didn’t you keep the book as is and rip out pages to make it thinner and glue in new pages? wouldn’t that be a more efficient way?
Yeah, sometimes I do that as well... just depends on what kind of a look I want. :)
