- My latest grungy Lapbook is finally finished and she is another chunky one with a 4 signature junk journal plus a waterfall journal as well as envelope flips and secret writing spaces.
Lots of original vintage ephemera included.
She measures approx 8.5” by 6” with a 4” spine.
The base is created from 2 hard back vintage books, then on the cover just layers of fabrics and lace and vintage embellishments.

Oh my goodness Carol. I just cant stop looking at this video. It only 24 degrees here in Kansas today and I cant go play in the art room for its in my garage. I will probably be 30 of your views by the time I can get out there. Im so wanting to try one of your flippy floppy doo dads you have on the first page of your journal.
Hi Birdie, I’ve seen your craft room in your videos 😊 24 sounds warm we are about 12 at the moment, can you get a heater for your garage ? Lol at floppy flappy doo dads, they really should be called that 😂❤
I have a gas heater that I turn on when I can plan a whole day of crafting. I just feel guilty to turn it on and get it all warmed up for just a couple hours. I know it silly. Just guilt feelings I get. I'm cleaning house now instead.

Wonderful grunge, Carol! It is so fantastic, the paper folds, fabric pages, clusters, signature after signature, etc. etc. I don't know how you get so much done and with working and all! So enjoyed it all!

This Lapbook is amazing, starting with the cover! The closure is so creative. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that before. You are really good at adding flips and flaps. Love the grunge and vintage pieces throughout. So much to look at! What a fun, interactive Lapbook. Thoroughly enjoyed the flip through. BTW, your bloopers cracked me up! TFS. 💜😎🇺🇸

Just Glorious Carol!! one question.. How do you coffee dye your window envelopes without melting the window?
Thanks 😊 I dip in coffee mixture but don’t dry them in the oven, usually outside when it’s warm or on my old dining table for a few days 😊
