Absolutely great review, "This is the car that satisfies
the driver and begs to be driven hard", I like that!
Nice to know that Hyundai is still one of the few manufacturers that offers a standard transmission as well as an automatic, instead of providing the only option as a piece of shit CVT in a sports coupe. Also, that braking ability is impressive!
Just speaking of looks.. reminds me a LOT (like nearly same) of the Tiburon I had & absolutely loved. Seeing this now, looking into one of these... I just saw for sale. Prob not great in winter, but.. ? :)
This car is an excellent blend of looks, comfort, practicality, muscle, and agility; I love it! Not to mention you can still turbo/super charge it, replace that front bumper, and make other mods to increase the performance.
Excellent review on the Genesis Coupe. Absolutely love this car. In my opinion, Genesis Coupe is the best sports/performance coupe of 2010.
i really love this car. everytime when im on the road a lot of people are turning their heads sometimes they roll their windows down just to ask me what kind of a car is that coz i remove the all the hyundai emblem(H). if you had one lower the height first it look badass then wheels

when i see this car i feel like crying, its such an amazing deal, i think of the money i spent on my 2005 mercedes e500, and it brings tears to my eyes. thank god i sold i for 95% of my initial cost. I swear to you i will never buy german again. Im gonna talk it over with my father tomorrow and I think i will be purchasing the topped ot genesis coupe 3.8.

@GargantulaKon. If what i'm thinking is right the limited slip is torque based and as the tire spins you see the right tire spin as well a second or so after at say 2:14-7

@bmwandcadillacftw I'm from a very blessed family & my parents hv brand new BMWs but I'm proud of myself of buying my Genesis Coupe on my own savings & hard work. I still think GC is the best in its segment. I respect everyone's opinion since diff ppl hv diff preferences, but shame on u of looking down people like this.

I love this car, my old 98 mustang gt that came with 228hp and is slow compared to this genoupe, and i used to think the old mustang was very fast, i guess it was all that raw torque it had but i could never get it to drift like the gencoupe does because the suspension on the mustang sucked and so did the live rear axle it had.
When they stand next to each other, I have trouble figuring out which to stare at.
Looks like the LSD is not working well at 2:12. It looks like it's open.
@Texarmageddon i got this car from my parents at the age of 17. I also had a reckless driving ticket on my record (5 points). Insurance isnt too bad. its like 3 grand per year just for me
its a very awesome car. the tailight can be changed as koreanautoimports has a huge aftermarket for it with anything you can think off.
Why do you say sadly you're geting the 2.0 track? Wait, til the R-Spec or buy the base. The premium and track models of the 2.0t cost more than the 3.8 base. Im just going to buy that. If i dont like the stereo sound i'll just replace. Also, you can always add in a LSD

true that, but keep in mind youre buying a bmw. not only will it last longer, and continue to perform thanks to quality engineering and parts/assembly, but it will also hold value for longer. if you can afford it, the bmw is a better buy in the long run. a 10 year old 335i will sell for considerably more than a 10 year old genesis
@hk19800 maybe the best NEW coupe of 2010.. but have you driven the e92? sorry, it blows this thing away.

I checked insurance for this car and it's less for me (I'm 18) to insure me in this car than a civic si or mazda3 which is really sad but oh well I'll live with that lol
@gregomhb Yea, I've heard some really bad stuff about the rear end one the new Z's. I hope it isn't all true.

That VLSD doesn't look like it's locking well... just like on my 350Z. Guess if you buy this, save up for a real LSD.
