    I drive Uber/Lyft in the Triangle. When passengers ask me about the area I reiterate the info I learn here. As a former Pennsylvanian, I thank you for providing great info! And, when passengers ask about realtors in the area, I always recommend y’all! ❤

    Can't believe you don't mention the world-famous 11-foot-8 bridge. It's a railroad crossing with an infamously-low bridge in Durham that box trucks regularly crash into; and a nearby business has a webcam recording the crashes.

    People DO NOT think of it as one big area. There’s Raleigh and then there’s Durham. They are not the same.

    "Also at Duke is the Duke Lemur Center, where I assume they have lemurs" 😂
    For anyone interested, it's the largest dedicated lemur sanctuary in the world, as well a leading research facility for these animals. Very fun, educational place to bring the SO and/or family!

    The Museum of Life and Science is NOT on Duke's campus. It's on 84 acres of beautiful land just north of downtown Durham. Also no one in Durham thinks they are a part of Raleigh.

    • @LivinginRaleighTV
      @LivinginRaleighTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We don’t talk about crime on our channel. There are plenty of resources for that all over the internet. As for schools, go to greatschools.org and there is a lot of info there.

    • @LivinginRaleighTV
      @LivinginRaleighTV  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Realtors are not allowed to talk about crime or schools due to fair housing laws. The most we can do is point you to government websites where you can form your own opinions on which areas have crime and which areas have the best schools.
