Love the swim up bar and the fact that your right on the beach. 21 Main a wonderful restaurant, Wine tasting with live music is down the street along with shops & restaurant's in Barefoot Landing. Just a great relaxing time away.

The grand strand has some great resorts - having a view of the beach or ocean while in bed is the key.

This is such a beautiful resort. That pool area looks magnificent. And it is right on the beach! We need to check this out next time we are in the Myrtle Beach area. We have been finding a number of good pandemic/winter discounts here lately too. Thanks for sharing this resort!

Mr. Murray, there are two towers here. Jasmine and Indigo. The 2 bedroom condos area called HAMPTONS.
I live here as a 13 yr old middle school kid. This place ROCKS!

My wife and I stayed at north beach plantation on our 2nd anniversary we loved it I’m planning on taking her for her birthday April 23rd not sure if to get the townhouse or tower I might go with tower she wants a oceanfront view
The views from the towers are great! The townhomes are really nice too! What a great birthday gift!
when you booked was the room called Hampton? Was wondering what the views were from that room and if you could see the sunrise from the balcony. Seems that the tower is blocking that view. Overall the place looks amazing.
So if you are looking at the building from the front we stay in the tower on the right! We had great views of the ocean and sunrise! The place is super nice and you can't beat the prices right now! Thank you for watching!

We're thinking of going for a week in August but are having a difficult time choosing between the development/neighborhood and the towers. There will be 5 of us: Mom, Dad and 3 adult children (23, 24 and 25). Any suggestion? The villas look so far away from the beach, which is what we love. Also, just wondering . . . are there chairs on the beach or do we have rent them? buy them? bring them with us? Thanks so much. Love your videos! :-)
You guys will have a great time! Tough choice! The villas really aren’t that far from the beach. Maybe a 5 minute walk but I think your family could stay in the room you saw in the video (if someone doesn’t mind sleeping on a couch). We just brought our own chairs! Much cheaper to do it that way! There are also a ton of restaurants close by which I don’t think we have ever really mentioned in our videos! Hope this helps with your decision!
We just got back from staying a week at North beach resort. We had a really nice 4 bedroom on the 10th floor. It was a corner room so we had balcony view of the beach, pool, inlet and the swash (I think that’s what they call it). Just an FYI if you plan to rent beach chairs/umbrellas, do it ahead of time! We always rent 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs every year bc it’s just so convenient and less to have to lug up and down to the beach. I believe my mom rented them a couple weeks prior to our vacation week. It’s a beautiful resort and I’m sure y’all will have a wonderful time there!

I know there is a restaurant offsite at this resort but is there a bar to get a drink at other than the pool swim up bar?
Great question! They have a restaurant on the site when you first pull in and I would guess that they would have one! We haven’t ate there yet but it would seem logical!
Can you rent beach chairs and umbrellas from the resort? Also, is there direct access to the beach?

I am up late editing. This looks like a great property. I almost thought it may be timeshare, but I couldn't find it in any of the exchange company directories. I guess you can only do rentals?
Rental and outright purchases! If I'm not mistaken Marriott only has one vacation club in Myrtle Beach and that one isn't even on the beach! I find it kind of shocking that they don't have one property on the beach at Myrtle Beach!
@@TravelingWithEmMe Marriott's OceanWatch is on the beach in Myrtle Beach. There is also Sheraton Broadway Plantation, a Vistana property, that isn't on the beach though.
You are the man! I assumed their Grand Dunes resort was the one by the intracoastal waterway! We will definitely have to check that one out!

Good question! If you stay in the townhomes you still have access to the pools! They will give you a wristband. From the townhomes it is about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach!

What reason did they say the hot tubs were still closed? I’ve stayed at several resorts last year and all hot tubs were opened.
Don’t know! Didn’t ask! To cold for us to enjoy them anyway! All the indoor pools were open! Thanks for watching 😁.
How far is this resort from the Myrtle Beach boardwalk and pier?

What’s the price
Prices right now are real cheap! For that room we paid $139 a night.
Are they handicap accessible?
As far as we know they are but I would check their website to make sure!
They lied to me and said there's no such thing as room service honest to God it was unbelievable
What about shopping? Nightlife?
The shopping is great in Myrtle Beach! There are two outlet malls (one very close to North Beach), Coastal Grand Mall, and plenty of other fun places to shop at all along the Grand Strand! As far as night life... we are an old couple at heart so we are in bed by 9 pm so can't answer that one! Thanks for watching!
That looks like a very expensive hotel!
During the pandemic the prices haven't been bad at all! Once the pandemic is over that will be a different story LOL!
The people at the pizza parlor in there were very rude
