Lately I’ve been really into making a custom lightsaber. There’s lots about PVC for the hilt or just using other stuff. That could be a really cool project to see you do
He's got a couple, at least one I'm positive, where he takes a dollar store saber and Create Sci-Fi's it up.

My only concern is what I have seen from many American creators, the wasting of materials. Cutting pieces from the middle of that foam, so far apart from each other... Oh it just really grind my gears. Other than that, very cool
I've noticed that too. I was always taught to start at the corners of paper, felt etc and try to use every last bit of it and throw away as little as possible.
Thats my pet peeve too! And if a mistake happens a whole other piece is cut :( I feel like it goes against the ethos of trash-building, to make the most with what is available, to elevate the status of common materials, save resources... I know prop and model building inevitably make a lot of waste, but theres so much we CAN control! /rant

I love the fact that you use Bondo to fill the screw holes. Most people will just give them a snazzy paint job and miss the important details. Here's another tip: If you scoop the Bondo mix into a ziplock sandwich baggie and snip the tip, you can easily squeeze the Bondo into the screw holes. Thereby saving you some time and a bit of money.

Hey Anthony, why not use piping bag to get the bondo into the holes, that would even work with a simple plastic bag cut open on the corner.
did you ever have legal problems when you used a pre-existing thing and modified it to use it as a film prop?
