As a now 65-year old male, you couldn't have paid me to watch soccer in 2008. Then, I watched the 2008 Summer Olympics that televised all of our women's team's matches. Tobin Heath got a lot of screen time and the slow motion replays made my jaw drop. Kelly O'Hara also opened my eyes about soccer. All the players did. The USWNT has been my absolute favorite team ever since.
I agree 100%. just turned 40, never was into soccer. Then one day a few months ago I stumbled onto some youtube videos of the WNT and I was instantly hooked! I love seeing their friendships and how close they all are to eachother. I almost feel like I've gotten to know them on a down to earth level. Now I make sure to tune into NWSL games whenever I can and root them on. Kelley O'Hara has definitely to be my favorite!
@Shelly Nogueira I feel so sad for Brazil right now. The U.S, Russia, and Brazil have a huge problem with this virus. And all three countries have horrible leaders.
My favorite player in the whole world! such an underrated talent! everyone focuses on the players who score goals but Kelley is key in defense and great at moving the ball forward. Beautiful assist yesterday in the England game.
Jamie Fullton definitely one of the best....everyone talks about Dunn playing out of position but Kelly is a winger....people don’t talk about it anymore but it’s the way soccer was taught at high level in Netherlands was “ position less futbol” interchange positions
Her goal in the semi finals four years ago when she launched into the air to tap the ball into the net is my favorite picture of Kelley. I’ve watched that video hundreds of times. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Just found out that Sam Mewis grew up about 5 minutes away from where I did and I wonder if I ever saw her playing high school soccer.
McIntosh HS, c/o 2001, here!! Loved living in PTC, GA!!!! We still call it the "Bubble". Hell, the soccer fields she rolls up to, around the 1:10 mark, are right by my old house. Damn, I miss that town, and my golf cart. LOL Congrats to PTC's own, Kelley O'Hara, on winning the 2019 FWWC!!!
I recently got cut from my ODP team and it was a pretty hard blow but I didn’t let it stop me and to see that Kelley had a similar experience but pursued nonetheless is really motivating and inspiring
Proud of you for being a great Georgian soccer player!! Morningside guy here who was invited to join the GSU team. You were given a gift from God that you developed....like your coach said. Rejection made you push yourself harder. You have inspired me to after my dream. Your dad cried when he saw the team at Wembley while the national anthem played. I'm balling my eyes out. I know how much hard work one has to put in to get to a higher level. But, not all of us are as gifted as you. Enjoy your success. All of Georgia should be cheering for you!
OMG 1.50 ---it's hilarious!)) This cute little thing trying to stop the ball! Ooooh!😁👌👍 ...But seriously, one can see the character and determination in this tiny one, the way she moves, the way she throws herself towards the ball. You are a naturally born athlete, and an amazing world class player, Kelly. And now you are a legend! Congratulations on being a World Champion🏆🌿!
Underlying metabolism at older development has a major impact determination for success. Controlling one's weight, running all the time, and practicing the different skills are super imperative for subsequent success.
Love defense mechanics of uswnt. Kelly is very competitive. She needs to tell the other three of her defense mates to up their tempo in this game. Man to man marking is suggested for defense
Hey Kelly, love what you said about mind control. You may like Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz who was a plastic surgeon turned self help guru. He noticed that some people might have an imperfection somewhere on their body, this imperfection made them feel ugly, when they really were not. Interestingly, after surgery their experience changed them to out going people. I’m a life long stutter, the book was very important to me in developing a positive attitude. I’ll let you go. Good luck in you’er up coming tournament.
Nice but I have to mention this is another rich community (average income 101,000 annual) and kids with poor parents don’t often get a shot to play soccer outside their backyards 🥺.
I miss this clips. You're in manila now with f35. How's I'm going to reach you. You do not only how I wish to speak English everyday.. I think it serious. I want the red card. Don't do it again. Just for highschool days

The commentators were talking about the Dutch need for good service of cross. O'Hara's cross to Press was golden.

She's such a great defender, She's also completely dangerous coming forward, Kelly O'hara is absolutely a world class footballer.
Once again, 10% talent, 90% hard work. Okay, maybe a little more than 10%. And throw in lots of ketchup.
Behind so many world class players is a coach who knew she could do it even when nobody else did. Thanks Coach Moore! The country is in your debt!
Great respect for O'Hara,Dunn, Mallory,press, rapinoe,and ertz !

She has really good facial structure. Oh, and she is a fabulous baller!
I felt so bad for her when she got injured in the final. it was clear she didn't want to come off. love Ali but Kelley was amazing.

I am a proud father of 2 beautiful daughters myself, so i can relate to Kelly's father's feelings...🌟

10:02 so are we going to ignore how collectively hot the O’Hara siblings are? I mean I’d literally take any and all of them
"lots of ketchup".... YES.

Amazing ability player
'Hate to play against ........First you'd pick on your own team' The ultimate compliment IMO Seems apropo.

Wait?! Her sister is Anna Kendrick??? 😮🤙
Mauro Juan no 🤨
Cool story.... one thing though, ketchup has a ton of sugar in it.
She’ is the one the best player
This is a terrific video, but the weird Coca-Cola product placement is downright bizarre. Anyway, Kelley O'Hara is awesome.
CocaCola basically produced this whole series so it's inevitable
It is very surprised me that Kelley is one of lesbian soccer players. I can’t tell how happy I was! Go Kelley !
Connie Cheng Yes she’s gay. And?
Although my guess is none of these great American players weren’t strikers/midfielders when young
SO RAD!
Put on a jacket coach
beautiful chick
Georgia Peach
But she doesn't have the hee haw accent!?
Lots of ketchup... me to kelley

Cute story but way too much product placement. Relentless shots of Coca Cola bottles with the label facing the camera. Not even subtle.
