My pleasure! I went again on Sunday to catch up with Jish and I meant to say hi to you but you’d wandered off before I got chance. Maybe next time. Congrats on a great build - looked great in the flesh 👍🤘
Too hard to chose a fave with such short views of the bikes here, I would have to go myself and see! Sure, the Guzz is a fine beauty, I notice you focus on the Beemers a bit. I do like the boxer engines myself and am thinking of getting another one, though nothing custom like this lot. Good show mate!
6 of us rode down from leeds on our bobbers, got wet on Friday but Saturday was ace, rode from Chigwell to the show and then the show was awesome..... after that to the bike shed for a meal, loved riding thru the restaurant....loved it 👍🏻 ...great vid
Hi Motobob, glad to see you liked my Honda CX500, it was our 1st attempt at building a bike, myself and my colleague did it as an exercise under my company name Libra Coachworks, Honda also loved it and took the bike to Wheels and Waves in Biarritz where it went down a storm, should also be featuring in a couple of Magazines soon which is exciting, massively overwhelmed with the public's response, could not have asked for a better result. Now looking for our next project so watch out for us !!!
Amazing! Congrats on such a beautiful build - it was definitely one of the builds of the show for me. Such a lot of detail and well finished. I’d love to make more videos of builds as they progress so let me know if you ever start another project and are up for something like that!
Yeah was awesome! I went back on Sunday afternoon for another snoop and it was much quieter so good to see more of the bikes but I guess the atmosphere wasn’t as good
Have always loved Triumph, and love my Street Twin but those BMW bikes are just too cool for words!!! I’ve an RT for touring which is a great machine...hope i’m not falling in love with those retro beemers🙈🙈🙈🙈...whats yer view on them Bob🤔
Beautiful aren’t they! But the price has gone up for the old airheads on the used market because they’re such a popular bike to customise. My dad had a R80 in mint condition and sold it for about a grand about ten years ago (to fund the next in a long line of BMWs) and I reckon they’re going for at least twice that now, if not more. It’s a lot of money for an old bike considering what else you could get for it, and what it might cost to get it up to scratch.
Seen a few bikes with those at the show. Not sure on the drawbacks but there must be some! Don’t think I’ll be heading to Margate tomorrow - gonna spend some time with the family. Hope the weather holds for you though if you’re going :)
MOTOBOB Austin is a bit far. I'm in Phoenix. Maybe the bike shed will branch out? The most custom bikes I have seen at one time was the distinguished gentleman ride. We need a dedicated shop for the style!
The One Show in Portland Or. in Feb. Lots of good bikes, held in a large, old, two story factory building - it has a totally different atmosphere than this one! Bike Shed looks like what you'd expect for a a cosmopolitan London, show in a trendy resto-building, while the One Show has more of a grunge, working class feeling. Both are good, enjoy the bikes!
I've been meaning to go for the past couple of years but not made it yet. How busy is it? Would you say it's best to get the train rather than ride down and try to park the bikes?
I’d recommend going on the Sunday afternoon if you want to see the bikes without it being crazy busy, but then again it’s good to soak up the atmosphere on Saturday when it’s really busy. There’s a free multi-storey car park across the road from the venue so definitely best to bike unless you fancy a few beers 🍻
Wicked footage man! 😎👌👌 Looking forward to a vid on those new tires of yours. Stocks are good, but would love a more nobbly look on my street twin 🤔 I'm gonna try a go for a tracker look my self.
Cheers lee. Still trying to figure out how to jack the bike up to get the wheels off... the engine hangs lower than the frame so not sure it’s safe to jack the motor. And there are no paddock stand bobbin mounts. Gonna ask the dealer when I got for a service this week
I got a lift. Fits right in the middle and both wheels come off the ground then. Got mine from Amazon around 70 - 80 quid. You could always then add a strap to make sure it won't move, should be sturdy enough 🤔🤔
Tell me about it! I missed quite a few bikes because I just got too fed up of the heat by the end. I might pop back later today for another quick look though as it’s only 10 mins on the bike for me
Cheers Tim. Yeah the garage is grand. I had a leak in the roof to fix and a section of gutter but I didn’t think it would make a very entertaining vid 😂 have done a couple of bits to the bike though in the last week or two so hopefully will get time to make an update vid soon
MOTOBOB Yeah all good thanks mate, last of my exams at uni then I’m off to pick up my new bike for the summer! Absolutely buzzing! Hope all’s good with you too?
MOTOBOB Yeah mate, sold the SV and bought a bandit now, couldn’t commute with the sporty position! Can’t wait to be back on a bike in this weather, it’s been about a year since I’ve ridden! Hope the wife and baby are well too mate!?
I actually just changed my camera for a Sony A6500. With the stabilisation in both the sensor and the lens and slowing down the footage from 120 fps to 30 fps it’s smooth enough to shoot handheld. This is the first video I’ve made with it and I’m suuuuuper happy with it
Mainly BMWs, Triumphs, Hondas. Plenty of Harleys in the car park tho! Also recommend checking out the Assembly show in July for more harleys - it’s free too :)
MOTOBOB Not this year no, year before last, its was so crowded and hot though. Not gonna be long before they will need a bigger venue...or just some air con.
Fair comment. I went back today to catch up with a few people and it was just stupidly hot again. It’s a cool venue for it but it’s uncomfortable and can’t be avoided if you want to look at the bikes
The cx500 was the best but NOT the Bold degreez one, the other one!!, next time less of your face and more of the bikes, you can talk anyway, can't you?
Thanks for getting a neat shot of the CX500
My pleasure! I went again on Sunday to catch up with Jish and I meant to say hi to you but you’d wandered off before I got chance. Maybe next time. Congrats on a great build - looked great in the flesh 👍🤘

Enjoyed that vid. I had a chat with the guys who built that CX, its a proper piece of kit. Good to meet you too
Cheers! Yeah it was brief - would be good to chat for longer some time! Hope you enjoyed the rest of the show
6 of us rode down from leeds on our bobbers, got wet on Friday but Saturday was ace, rode from Chigwell to the show and then the show was awesome..... after that to the bike shed for a meal, loved riding thru the restaurant....loved it 👍🏻 ...great vid
Sounds like a great weekend! Glad you enjoyed the vid 🙌

Thanks, once i find my next project i'll keep you posted.
Thanks for doing this. What a deep pool of talent out there! Hope you can put some of that inspiration into your custom work.
Cheers Kirk - agree the quality and number of bikes was impressive this year!
Great footage. Beautiful bikes. I'll start working on my bike soon. Love watching your channel.
Thanks LBA! Glad you enjoyed it 👍
amazing show. Saw some great bikes and super engineering too. Puch Maxi was very clever but Motobi was my bike of show :-):-)
Yeah the quality of the builds was even better this year across the board I’d say
Best looking one for me was the black AutoFabrica.
Agree Their bikes are out of this world. Factory quality builds but totally unique 👌
When is the 2019 show on love to go and where please 👍
It’s at Tobacco Dock in London. It’s in May. Check their website for details!
Hey Bob, check out the new Royal Enfield 650 twins. Bet you'll see a few next year customised.
Would love to test one out. I think there’s a dealer in Bethnal Green so maybe I’ll try to test one soon. You going to get one?
MOTOBOB considering it for my next one, but that'll be next year. It's older bonneville / V7 or new Enfield twin.
Hmmmm a tough choice!
Your video has inspired me!, i would love to put on an event like this in my local area (east coast US). could u point me towards some recources??
Best to speak to the guys who run the bike shed show...
Mint. It was a good show huh?.I went on Saturday. So busy!
Yeah was awesome! I went back on Sunday afternoon for another snoop and it was much quieter so good to see more of the bikes but I guess the atmosphere wasn’t as good

MOTOBOB
I hear ye.......ahhh the aul “Pop had one and sold it!” 😫....be great to have that now🙄.....Bikeshed next year👊
Haha so true!
Interesting brake reservoir @ 8:27 .Are you doing the Margate Meltdown ride?
Seen a few bikes with those at the show. Not sure on the drawbacks but there must be some! Don’t think I’ll be heading to Margate tomorrow - gonna spend some time with the family. Hope the weather holds for you though if you’re going :)
I wish there were spots like this across the pond. If there are, I haven't found it. I see very few customs here.
I believe the Handbuilt Show in Austin TX is pretty similar, although I guess it’s a long shot that it’s local to you!
MOTOBOB Austin is a bit far. I'm in Phoenix. Maybe the bike shed will branch out? The most custom bikes I have seen at one time was the distinguished gentleman ride. We need a dedicated shop for the style!

MOTOBOB nice tip thanks! I suppose you could hotel it so you get the best of both! Haha. I did like the look of some of that craft on draft! 👌
Pay an extra £10 and get a Friday evening VIP ticket. No crowds and a drink thrown in ! Definitely going again next year !
Wicked footage man! 😎👌👌

Interesting! Where does it contact the underside of the bike? On the engine?
MOTOBOB the sub frame and the exhausts pipes buddy. Doesn't do any damage at all. Obviously just wait for the bike to be cool. Lol. 😉😉
MOTOBOB Cartrend 50241 Motorcycle lift, load up to 680 kg www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006T9D6PW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MSUcBbCKA1ERC
Hello! It was nice to meet you yesterday. Good editing as usual! Keep good work up. Cheers
Great to meet you too Pawel! Hope you enjoyed the rest of the show
MOTOBOB show was good. Next year they definitely need to work on A/C as in some places it was like in green house!😂
Tell me about it! I missed quite a few bikes because I just got too fed up of the heat by the end. I might pop back later today for another quick look though as it’s only 10 mins on the bike for me
Nice vid. How’s the garage fit out going? 👍🏻
Cheers Tim. Yeah the garage is grand. I had a leak in the roof to fix and a section of gutter but I didn’t think it would make a very entertaining vid 😂 have done a couple of bits to the bike though in the last week or two so hopefully will get time to make an update vid soon
Nice to have you back! Cracking video again mate
Cheers mate. You good?
MOTOBOB Yeah all good thanks mate, last of my exams at uni then I’m off to pick up my new bike for the summer! Absolutely buzzing! Hope all’s good with you too?
New bike?? Did you already tell me about this a few months back? I’m good mate. Loving this riding weather 🙌
MOTOBOB Yeah mate, sold the SV and bought a bandit now, couldn’t commute with the sporty position! Can’t wait to be back on a bike in this weather, it’s been about a year since I’ve ridden! Hope the wife and baby are well too mate!?
600 is it? Yeah they’re both great! Keeping me busy of course, but loving the family life. Lots of time at home chilling :)
Great footage, what camera setup do you use, and what did you use to get your pans so smooth :)

Thanks for cheering. 😄👍🏼
A nicely shot film - top videography , shame the bikes were just Hipster pish ! Bolting stuff on dont make it custom😀
Cheers Ponkster! Enjoyed filming it
Nice video. ...I sadly couldn't get there so this was great! Steve
Cheers Steve. I missed a lot of great bikes but there was too much to get round and it was boiling in there. But hopefully gave you a flavour
Where are the italian bikes?
beautiful event, beautiful motorcycles, great video! 👏🏻🤘🏻
Cheers Marco 🙌🙌🙌
No Harley Davidsons?
Mainly BMWs, Triumphs, Hondas. Plenty of Harleys in the car park tho! Also recommend checking out the Assembly show in July for more harleys - it’s free too :)
Thanx for the " Tip" but to far away time etc....
cheers bro. aussie boy here.
👍🇦🇺😎
Wow the bikes are looking a lot less “shed built” than last years.
Yeah the standard of bikes was incredible!
33 true Shed builds out of the 239 bikes on show. You can't tell by looking at the work tho.
Top quality bob.
Cheers Billy. Did you head down to the show?
MOTOBOB Not this year no, year before last, its was so crowded and hot though. Not gonna be long before they will need a bigger venue...or just some air con.

Nice video!
Thanks Jirka 🙌
Quality 👌
No to sudden loud music
Loved it
more bikes less human.......
The cx500 was the best but NOT the Bold degreez one, the other one!!, next time less of your face and more of the bikes, you can talk anyway, can't you?
