Great cover thanks for that.:) Just two little things: in the beginning Maynard sings "NEVER the optimistic one" not ever. Like most of the time he's sarcastic here. And then you left out the end completely. In that calm outro he sings "passive aggressive, bullsh#t" eight times on the record. Live there's even more lyrics. I just think this line is crucial to the whole meaning of the song so I wouldn't leave it out. Beside that thanks for this great video, I'm singing to that every other day.
You are incorrect. It's "ever". The word "never" wouldn't even make sense in context: "Dead as dead can be, my doctor tells me. But I just can't believe him, ever the optimistic one". It means he doesn't believe the bad news the doctor is telling him.
@@jerryhoban The lyrics never state that the narrator was being told, by the doctor, about the narrators well being... I always thought it was either, the narrator talking to a doctor by the bedside of someone else. Or the Narrators thoughts after, seemingly, accidentally killing someone.
Almost sounds like the real thing, a great cover
Constantine.
Great Film.
@@anthonyoram7614 Yup, and game was also good.
Still waiting sequel hope they make it.
Yep. This is great.
A Perfect Cover ;)
I love the song, but could you maybe do the words better. They don't really help much unless you already know them.

@@jerryhoban It's only bad news if you want it to survive. Both meanings can make sense, it depends on where you're coming from.
@@DaWurfmaul That's how I've always understood it too
