    Made the pizza dough today and made my grandson pizza and my daughter and I ham and cheese calzones, they were so good. The dough was so easy to work with thank you for the recipe.

    Greetings from Malaysia. I did your dough on Friday and today I made the pizzas. The dough came out great. I love the texture and the accuracy of the measured ingredients. This is the best pizza dough I have tried. Fasting month is just a fevv days avvay and I am going to make more of your frozen pizza dough so that I can freeze them and use them vvhenever I vvant.     You make it look easy, but I don't have the Kitchen Aid. I cut the recipe in half and just finished kneading by hand. Dough looks great and not near as sticky as recipes I've been following. Can't wait to use it later today. I will try the knead cycle on the bread machine next time, Thank you.

    Really some nice looking dough. I just found a mixer on a stand with the hook, it's not kitchen aid but for $5 I thought it would be good for what I would need it for. Thanks for sharing this recipe and how to .... it will be nice to make a pizza just the way I like it. The restaurants always seem to get something wrong or just doesn't have the flavor your looking for.

    Hi, do you let it defrost in the refrigerator for 24 hrs with the cling film? When do you remove the cling film?

    do you unwrapped when you thaw it in the fridge? or when you place it in a container and leave it in the counter?

      If you didn't get your answer already you can leave them wrapped and when on the counter put in a bowl or container then cover it. 4 hours is a safe time to start forming you dough although varies a lot based on room temp.

    Hi. Great video. Can I ask which Kitchenaid model you use for pizza dough? I wasted over $200 on a 400Watt Hamilton Beach model. The darn thing seizes up as soon as the dough starts to get thick. Pretty red TERRIBLE machine the Hamilton Beach is. Thank you.

      The kitchen aide stand mixers are the standard. I’ve had one for almost 30 years and have had no problems and I use it a lot. Mine is the model with the bowl that lifts, rather than the ones with the head that lifts. Don’t know anything about the Hamilton beach mixers, but the kitchen aide mixers are really designed for kneading dough rather than mixing batters, which are much thinner. If you buy one you will likely not be disappointed and even if you buy a used one you will probably be happy. Lots of TH-cam videos highlighting the kitchen aide mixers. You can spend more on a mixer but you can’t get a better mixer in my opinion.

    If you flatten them out a bit, they defrost a lot faster.

    What if I dont have a stand mixer?? Can I stir all ingredients together and knead by hand for 15 min??

      What about fast acting yeast is that the same thing as instant yeast? Package says to skip proofing part. Good lord pizza might be breakfast. Lol

      You can skip the proofing if you like and fast acting should work the same.
