    • @namikstudios

Solos are the most complex part of his playing - there is almost never any singing over the top of a guitar solo. As for singing while playing complex rhythm guitar riffs, James Hetfield is the true master of that art. The problem is that people see these cropped parts and picture that Dave set a public press just to say these words and leave, then people go like "look, poor bastard, he never got over it and is still trying to be an attention whore and play the victim". This is not the case and you are gonna see a lot of comments just like yours all over the internet about every and any situation, because these cropped interviews and titles make people's subconsciousness scream "LOOK, HE/SHE'S DESPERATE FOR ATTENTION", when the truth is that is just a subject that draws interviewer's and public's attention to be asking over and over again and the "story participant" (Dave, in this case) is just having to politely answer the same questions over and over again and the parts are cropped to a minute or less video to be consumed and earn money for the channels in digital medias (TH-cam, TikTok, Instagram, etc...). It's a disease in our society, if you ask me.

It was actually a good thing, that he was fired from two people, that had some of the biggest egos and issues, that the Metal World has ever known. Getting away from James and Lars was the best thing that happened to him, at that time. To this day, Lars and James, for example, have explained their side of things, when it comes to Jason, and why he left the
"Great and Mighty" Metallica. He got tired of dealing with those two, James and Lars. I would have, too! To ever wish that James and Lars would ever truly apologize to Jason, would be like asking for Snow in the Middle of July...at the equator! It just ain't gonna happen! There has been some sort of an attempt at reconciliation between

Well first he was asked a question about it. Secondly he watched as Metallica became the biggest band in the world with Kirk getting the credit as the creative talent for music he created. So yea you'd be a little salty too if hundreds of millions of people world wide spent 15 years wrongfully labeling your music as made by the person who replaced you. We know this is the case too because Kirk first auditioned for Metallica by playing the solo for Seek and Destroy, so clearly some of the songs were written by the time he joined.

If it was only about the money, Mustaine should have hired an attorney to sue Metallica for royalty payments. They’re all smart businessmen; I’m sure they could have come to an agreement. That said, simply contributing a riff or solo is often not enough to be credited as a writer on a song. Mustaine was in fact given writing credit for a number of Metallica songs, but I’m not sure if he was ever paid for any of it. @@user-chillvillBecause if Dave's track record with Megadeth is anything to go by, he would've made Metallica implode. His personality on top of James and Lars? They probably would have ended each other before they even wrote MOP

I imagine Dave would've clashed with Lars and James so hard that Metallica wouldn't have made it into the 90s
