Atlas V Starliner Crew Flight Test Launch Highlights

- For the first time in history, a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V carrying NASA astronauts aboard Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner lifted off on June 5, 2024 at 10:52 a.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex-41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The launch of NASA astronauts Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita “Suni” Williams marks the return of human spaceflight to Cape Canaveral and extends the Atlas legacy, echoing the launch of U.S. astronaut John Glenn aboard a heritage Atlas LV-3B rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, in 1962.

The collaboration here is amazing, to anyone who says crew dragon is better I respect that, but space is hard unless you think you can make something better than starliner tell me about it! Congratulations to ula and Boeing! Godspeed

@@codymoe4986 I'm a tradesman. I do quality work and don't cut any corners to compromise safety, unlike Boeing. Boeing's only concern is their stock price. I don't claim to be a rocket scientist, so no, I don't have anything better. But Boeing is a crap company that only cares about their stock price and not safety of the people who depend on the vehicles they produce. It's not trolling if you're speaking the truth. I suggest you do a deep dive into the history of the Boeing company. Scary stuff. Also, haven't you even seen the news about Boeing in the last several years? I thought everyone knew about at least some of the safety problems they've had lately. Lol

@@Alexandremixhui. So starliner had 2 un crewed flight tests (bc the first had a major fault) Dragon had one. Etc.
This is a "test flight" because it's just a mission to test the vehicle without it being a full length mission.
