Apparently everyone misses being able to choose maps. What I think is that if these changes keep the current playerbase and make it attractive for new players, in the long run organic growth should mean we eventually have enough players to reincorporate map selection into the game.
I don’t hate the merge, but reorganizing all of the squads one soldier at a time is a huge hassle. I spent more hours in the squad menu than actually playing battles since the merge happened.
I really like putting a mishmash of equipment which mix up the gameplay like one guy will have a Beretta 1918 one with a MP-32(o) one with Beretta M38 ect
The merge needs some alterations, but for me, right now, the biggest problem of enlisted is the balance. On 50% or more of the maps or your team cant conquest one flag, or your team Just stomps the another one
Are you gonna continue this series? A br 3 and a br 5 load out at the minimum could be great, and I would like a br 1 and 4 possibly. These videos tend to get a lot of views too
I didnt hate the update but the more i play the more i like it. I can unlock different vehicles and weapons earlier and the new sherman howitzer 105mm and the japanese 125mm cannon are insane
The Enlisted devs listen to the community a lot, they have a team of helpers who just sit on Discord and forums all day collecting feedback from players, so if there is an issue with the game, they usually fix it within a week/month

Right now for the Allies I'm running An engineer squad with 5 1917 Enfields and a radio man An MG squad, with 3 Besals from the event, 2 engineers, and a Gunner with a PIAT An Assualter squad with Owen's and Winchester 1912s, a Medic, An Engineer and a Riflemen with an M1 Carbine Grenade Launcher. Lastly I've got a rifle squad with 6 Carbine Grenade launchers, an engineer and an Assaulter with a M3A1 Also a crusader and a Spitfire
Thank you, Quadro. I’ve played the last two days and I’ve enjoyed the merge game play immensely. I’ve seen so much hate about it and I can’t help but laugh anymore. It’s not that bad, and I enjoy playing against live players and not bots. If I’m a tier 3 and play against tier 5, it’s just a challenge. My team still usually wins. Everyone needs to Stop whining, purchase a premium account, set three squad presets for different tiers and enjoy the game. The developers are trying their best and it’s still better than anything EA or Activision have produced in the past 5 years
I just really really hope that they rework presets (useless if you like having each soldier use a different grenade type or gun) or give us the ability to get duplicate squad so, so you have have a machine gunner 1 squad from BR 1 BR 2 and BR 3. They also really have to make unlocking stuff inside of squads easier, it's currently almost impossible

I'm gonna have to disagree with your assessment of the US and Germany's assaulter squads, that being that the Owen Mk 1 and the Beretta M1918 are both at tier 2. Both have very high rates of fire, the highest at tier 2 in fact. I would argue the presence of those guns gives both factions incredible close range damage.
There are 2 or more great soviet squads in BR3: SVD28 squads which has 4 radio men with sniper and ppd1944 dolganov squad with a 71 round magazine with big ammo bag you got around 280 rounds + your magazine. Its op on BR3.
I laughed out loud when I seen it load because I have my squads all equipped with the Winchester if they have to use a rifle. I can’t express enough how much I love that weapon, also the No4 Lee Enfield. Those two rifles fully upgraded with max Damage. They can send rounds after rounds and just drop shit.
Playing a campaign and seeing people in clothing and vehicles that's not used in that campaign historically ruins enlisted for me. Other than that i like the merge update.
Dont forget the mg get BRUTAL when you appy the bipod since the buff. Plopping down a sandbag and ammo crate in a strategic position can turn games now. Plopping down an hmg with your engie. Then with ur engie squad an lmg position you can really multiply your defensive advantage.
What I've started to do, although hugely time consuming, is dedicate squads to a tier and leaving them at that tier. This makes perk selection simpler too, bolt action speed for example is a lot more useful at these lower tiers. There are some really nice premium squads that sit in the lower tiers too. I found this out when I took the tier 5 weapon off the engineer 😅. Like lots of people I have sooo many squads, once I've sorted out my main tiers I'll probably make some fun squads up for goofy stuff like duck shoots and melee/grenade madness.
Especially since soldiers aren’t that expensive anymore. You can spend a few thousand on looking for perfect rolls for literally each squad and then just level them up by playing but the really expensive part since the merge has become weapon upgrading.

@maineiacman tell that to my 10+ kills every game In tier II. not only that you're bound to go against an uptier with people bringing panzer IV Js. It's also a guaranteed tank kill if you land your bombs correctly. P38 needs direct hits but sometimes it doesn't even do anything.
You should not see the PZ 4 J if your army is set correctly to tier 2. You will see the short barreled PZ 3s and 4s. Also, 10 kills a game isn't helping your team, and even 10 kills every run isnt because it takes so long for the plane to rearm and your not going to be able to shoot anything down with it. Your best bet is to use it as a anti tank kamikaze cruise missle.

@@JeefedOn If you're only getting 10 kills with the Dauntless per match, you're not flying it very well. I prefer that plane myself but I usually get closer to 40-60 kills with it depending on the map. It's surprisingly capable as a dogfighter too against the majority of pilots you'll come across in 109s. I've found I can often out-rate them just by making use of flaps, and the airbrakes come in handy when they try and do a scissors. An actually skilled pilot will usually beat you, but you rarely find them at tier 2.
Great video for good squads on the lower end. Personally, I think the BA-11 is a solid choice if you have it, because its got decent speed and it's gun can penetrate a Panther's side armor if you're uptiered. Also, the GAZ AA Truck can penetrate the Panther's side armor too
I needed the Winchester, as I have just found out, my main tank I use, is in br4, I didn't notice this was upping my br from early 2 to a late 3 till today (still dominated, as Soviet players are 80% noobs 20% objective rushers that win if 3 are on team), anyway, that was something frustrating
1. Mannlicher 1895 is good, but the front sight blade is so slim that it tends to blend in with the target, no so convenient. 2. Winchester is good, but the sight picture is "tight" with not so much space between the rear notch and front sight, kind of like the Mannlicher. 3. Does the Madsen have low recoil when braced? According to my experience picking up other's gun, they climb like un-braced anyway.
How do you use the anti tank stick from japanese ? I always end up blowing myself alone, tanks take no damages… Also for japanese, I take a radio on every squads, pacific is only open map most points are outside and some buildings points even get penetrated by bombs so, there’s no place to be safe. Oh and smoke grenades, a lot of smoke grenades.
I think this list needs to be gone over again with more testing done because there are a handful of tier 3 items that are marked as BR2 and I'd be curious if they actually are BR2 or if it's an error by Gaijin(never happens i know).
My favorite tier 2 squad is actually my riflemen. engineer, radio operator, and 7 riflemen equipped with two m1903 grenade launchers. That’s 6 grenade launcher shots per rifleman.
Trying to get my loadouts done but it is a real hassle...I like tanks but in the Russian mode none of the tanks have any splash damage..I hit the enemy on the actual soldier and they do not die.....I had much better time in the old game
PTRS is perfect for shooting tank tracks and also shooting down planes. Tank with destroyed tracks is just sitting duck for everybody around. P38 is rather junk, outturned by almost everything with single engine.
im sure theres some minor differences in the stats (a lot of the stats are tweaked behind the scenes). The only major difference, though, is the sights.
some guns its worth it, some guns its not. But in the case of all of them, the reality is that im quite lazy. also I wanted this to be very F2P friendly, and most F2P players arent going to have maxed guns. I think these loadouts are solid even without maxed guns
@Quadro what are your thoughts on the balance issues of tier 3?. Such as the 50% (more like 70%) chance of being up tiered with tier 5 players running tigers. Kind of annoying if you ask me as my Soviet army is currently geared purely for tier 3 with the KV-1, PPS-43, for my Assaulters, and my Panzerfaust 60 AT squad and my Flametroopers. Yet I always keep getting up tiered to tier 5. Kind of annoying when it's nothing but greyzone tigers where it's impossible to flank and spank them with the panzerfausts when they are 100-150 or so feet away from the edge of the greyzone. That and their frontal armor is too thick for the Panzerfaust 60 to pen from that range. And even the Tiger E can one shot any vehicle from tier 3 Soviets. Including the KV-1 unfortunately.
Once you equip a tier 3 item on your soldier. You're overall, battle rating will automatically force you into tier 5 matches. I just created an all tear 2 team. I equipped one Thompson machine gun that was tier 3. My battle rating automatically switched to1 through five. And ninety percent of the time you are forced into normandy.
Staying in Tier 2 Americans to hide from Tigers. I love my tier 3 equipment but I feel like I’ll quit soon if I see another Tiger or Panther. I used to play The Pacific to unwind from sweaty Normandy but I can’t do that anymore.
Impact nade can be in any BR as of today, they might bring it to br3 just like they did to GL because they are broken in BR 2 😂 I get a large nade pouch for my engis and run triple impacts in br 2

@@boxinsteadyeddie uh thats weird, I dont know anyone that runs second weapon. The majority of the time you want an ammo bag. Having more ammo for your good gun is better than having a different, worse gun.
@@HeyQuadrothe idea from what I gather is that it’s just much faster than reloading especially for LMGs or bolt actions and you’ve got an engineer in just about every loadout for ammo if that’s the issue. Speed in dire situations seems more meta than having that extra clip you may die before you ever fire

The price does go up the more squad slots you get but it's worth it. It does suck that you have to buy premium in order to buy slots and there is no way to get slots for free :/
That is because the devs rushed this update out like fools and top tier Germany has the best equipment set up. IS 2 is rubbish and the Americans don't have access to the Tiger killing 90mm M36 Jackson or the Pershing

Who needs a damn M36 or whatever heavy tank to combat axis armor when I can shove 2x500lbs up its butt. The “balance” is that high tier Germans have the best tanks. High tier US Allie’s have the best planes. So all Allie’s have to do is counter them with ordinance. It’s that simple.
So, you go under your main squads click the tab underneath it'll bring up all your current squads on the left and your reserve squads on the right so on the left under your main current squads it'll give you the option to buy extra squad slots.

Use the APC drive through the backlines and start doing donuts around buildings FAST with M1 Carbine or the equivalent for your team, wreak havok

Fnab has a shot deviation of 0.88, MP40 got 0.82 and 0.77 for MP38.
The IAR-81C is such a good plane for low tier. I use it in my Tier I lineup, so overpowered there

You can also use the ptrs to destroy at guns or aa guns whit one shots

For a superbly good lil bomber. I recommend the SBD-3 Dauntless. 1000 pound bombs will annihilate anything in tier II

The best tank is the BT-7A with the 76 F32 gun.

If you like vehicles then put the bike in your squad even if you don't use them. This only works if you don't have premium.

Kind of annoying when it's nothing but greyzone tigers where it's impossible to flank and spank them with the panzerfausts when they are 100-150 or so feet away from the edge of the greyzone. That and their frontal armor is too thick for the Panzerfaust 60 to pen from that range.
And even the Tiger E can one shot any vehicle from tier 3 Soviets. Including the KV-1 unfortunately.

New player here, so if I use a tier 3 gun on a BR2 player will that put him in an upper tier match? br5?
Once you equip a tier 3 item on your soldier. You're overall, battle rating will automatically force you into tier 5 matches. I just created an all tear 2 team. I equipped one Thompson machine gun that was tier 3. My battle rating automatically switched to1 through five. And ninety percent of the time you are forced into normandy.

Staying in Tier 2 Americans to hide from Tigers. I love my tier 3 equipment but I feel like I’ll quit soon if I see another Tiger or Panther. I used to play The Pacific to unwind from sweaty Normandy but I can’t do that anymore.

Impact nade can be in any BR as of today, they might bring it to br3 just like they did to GL because they are broken in BR 2 😂 I get a large nade pouch for my engis and run triple impacts in br 2
The type Hei is in tier 3 but in br 2 atm. Wouldn’t that be a better option to Type-99’s?

Also coming back to this vid I noticed that you went with the backpack instead of a second smg and it surprised me since most of the time I keep hearing that double weapons is the way to go, but I assume the reload speed of this weapon makes the extra ammo preferable?
@@boxinsteadyeddie uh thats weird, I dont know anyone that runs second weapon. The majority of the time you want an ammo bag. Having more ammo for your good gun is better than having a different, worse gun.
@@HeyQuadrothe idea from what I gather is that it’s just much faster than reloading especially for LMGs or bolt actions and you’ve got an engineer in just about every loadout for ammo if that’s the issue. Speed in dire situations seems more meta than having that extra clip you may die before you ever fire
@@HeyQuadro Having extra ammo for the better gun would be ideal except it doesn’t have to be a better gun since you can equip the same guns and there wouldn’t even be a better or worse one.

@@monkewonkewarthunder You first need to buy premium. After that you are able to purchase permit squad slots for any nation that you want. The price does go up the more squad slots you get but it's worth it. It does suck that you have to buy premium in order to buy slots and there is no way to get slots for free :/

So far all of my br 2 games have been up tiers with br 3
The update i think is pointless, ive had about 9 game's and ive been german, all squads at level 5 and we destroy the enemy team everytime!

That is because the devs rushed this update out like fools and top tier Germany has the best equipment set up. IS 2 is rubbish and the Americans don't have access to the Tiger killing 90mm M36 Jackson or the Pershing
That’s how it was prior to merge, now it’s just full lobbies of unbalanced gameplay. As it stand Germany has the best Tier 5 equipment, no contest.

The “balance” is that high tier Germans have the best tanks. High tier US Allie’s have the best planes. So all Allie’s have to do is counter them with ordinance. It’s that simple.

So, you go under your main squads click the tab underneath it'll bring up all your current squads on the left and your reserve squads on the right so on the left under your main current squads it'll give you the option to buy extra squad slots.
I hear they have a xmas sale wait till then
