So these cannot be adjusted to meet an individuals specific frequency loss? Do they just amplify all sounds?

Sony states that both of their OTC hearing aids are “personalized to your hearing based on app assessment.” The app uses a hearing profile to recommend sound settings. App download available soon per Sony. Thank you for the comment and for watching!

@@bnanders12 I have been using these for a few days and they are the real deal. You do have "Fine Tuning" adjustments within the Sony App after you first take a hearing test that fine tunes the aids for you specific frequency deficits. I recommend them and I am coming from Phonak Virto B Titanium which are very good.

@@sizzle24 HI, can I ask which ones you where using please? The Sony CRE-C10 or the Sony CRE-E10? Getting some for my mam, the ones she were given look awful. These look nice and clean. Interms of sound, are they really decent or so and so? Thansk for your time.

@@ghunter20x10 Hello. I am using the C10 and I now use them more than my Phonak Titanium. The other advantage is the filters don't get clogged because they are covered. they are absolutely worth the money

Bluetooth capability is important to me, so the CRE-E10 sounds like the model I'd like to learn more about. It seems to have better battery life, too! I'm not that concerned about "invisibility", so that's not a concern to me. The biggest thing to me would be whether the app offers enough granularity for me to make the fine adjustments I'm interested in. I have a background in audio and would feel comfortable working with a "difficult" app. I'm sure there'll be a lot more out on these units, and I'll be reading up on them when that's available...

Bluetooth connectivity is a priority for me as well. The E10 has up to 26 hours of battery life (rechargeable) vs up to 70 hours for the C10 (size 10 battery). It will be interesting to see what level of control the Sony app provides. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

Is there plans for the CRE-E10 to be compatible with Android?

It is compatible with Android. The Sony Hearing Control app is available in the Google Play store. Thanks for watching!

I have a Signia hearing aid that appears to be based on the same technology as the Sony hearing aids. Do you know if they are supported in Connexx software like the Signia? I basically had to invent my own fitting method (50dB equal loudness stimulus to tune the equalizer), hoping I could do similar with these? Noah link for the CRE-E10 BT version?

The Sony Hearing Control app is the only way to adjust the Sony OTC hearing aids. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
