Pendulum summon can summon as many cards from the hand that are between the levels of the pendulum scales. But to summon from the extra deck it has to use the Extra monster zone or the link arrows of link monsters you control. So they could only summon 1 at the point because they controlled no link monsters and only havethe EMZ available to pendulum summon into from the extra deck and had no mosters in hand to summon.
I hit a ceiling in Diamond 1, went back and forth adding a few more floodgates. Then I switched to my Toybox deck that I got Master 1 last season and instantly shot to Master V haha

Could you share your actual decklist ? because I used the decklist you showed at the end of the video and got result very far from what you said only to find out that you use different cards in your video (I might be able to get to Diamond but there's no way I go Master like that) which is a real shame because otherwise your videos help me a lot but at the same time I feel like I've been tricked into investing in cards I shouldn't have. Btw I can't beat any Yubel Deck even whith a near complete deck (the only card I missing are Garuda, Trap and one Copy of Called by the grave and Karma Canon) do you have any tips?
These are all cards that I actually used in the replays for this video, I’m not sure what you mean? This was my actual decklist. Right now I have a public replay from the modified version of my deck I’m trying to use to get to Master 1 (where I use dimension barrier), if that’s what you mean?
@MattDawgGaming in the replay in this video you have Slash Draw, Foolish Burial and triple tactic talent but they don't appear in the deck list at the end of the video or the description
@@romi7061 oh yea, I explain in the video the first few duels I had a different version that was constantly making small adjustments to. For example Slash draw and witches strike were both not good enough to keep. The last few replays use the finalized version of the deck, what I post in the decklist is the most up to date version I have by the end of the video
What are your thoughts on subbing out solemn strike for iron thunder ?? I know it’s more LP but if say you were running solemn judgement instead, it’s just an all around better replacement
I really like Iron Thunder, but it has a downside where you can accidentally destroy some of your own cards. It's definately a solid card just requires paying close attention
Any chance you could make an Invoked Eldlich pile ? Seems really strong with metal reflect slime to summon out Egyptian god slime then the fusion monster that require another fusion monster + aleister. With metal reflect slime you can enable more rank 10 plays with Eldlich ie tarantula or superdreadnaught otk
@@MattDawgGaming i know it seems like jank, but a small branded package with the invoked, and diabellestar package inside the Eldlich pile has been pretty cool for me. Trap trick and Marella at 3 to access karma cannon, rollback, evenly , elemental burst, torrential at 2. Diabelle star discard Eldlich , burst or rollback (really any other semi brick in hand ) and invoked is just a really recursive engine allowing easy fusions (mad golden lord/ mechaba/ branded dragons etc) and follow up. The branded package i have in my pile includes bystials but tbh you don’t even need them, you can literally run 3 super poly 2 albaz 1 opening, 1 branded fusion.
lol sorry about that I have a tendency to mis-speak unfortunately Thrust is AMAZING, I run it at 2-3 in this deck. Talents is ok and I sometimes run it at 1. The main phase restriction is infuriating sometimes and thrust->grass is game winning while talent->draw 2 is only ok

Actually the less monsters u have the better. The deck really needs to send key cards to grave to shine. I tried to run ash and maxi, which is painful when reasoning hit it too early lol
Which names? Eldlich is a combination of “El Dorado” (the city of gold), Lich (dungeons and dragons name for a powerful wizard who turns himself into a zombie to become immortal) and “Eldritch” (an otherworldly being like Cthulhu)
@@MattDawgGamingyou can pend Summon as many viable Monsters from Hand as pssible, but when pend summoning from the extra, you have to Either Summon to the emz or zones links Point to. Its to prevent pend Players from Summon all their resources from the extra every Turn.

Isn't Reasoning a bit risky when you only have 4 monsters in the deck?
Milling rollback and Elemental burst makes it worth it
