I was working on a video on random HL2 mods, and spent way more time than I should have playing this one in particular. So as sort of an experiment, I just threw together a low effort shitpost of a video

damn, i just watched a guy play with watermelon and cinder blocks for 15min.
It was the title. As you described, I cannot be disappointed by the premise of the video cause I got exactly what I was expecting, watermelon, brick, and room.
This was more entertaining than I could have possibly expected
No way mans didnt realise the obviusly darker part of the wall
that's a shadow, the lightmap is extremely high-res, probably why the map took 3 minutes to download
I like how source engine can run in 30 or even 40 fps while rendering movement of the 200+ props giant walking mech with weird and complicated additional code that makes it move around a giant map
But then it screams in agony and burns down your PC because you throw a cinder block in the pile of other blocks and broke one watermelon in a small room
You know what? Thats it, i am subscribing, i need more of this

Expert here, this room has no cubemaps. The floor reflection is rendered with planar reflection. (Scene rendered twice, once upside down.)
