Finally had the sense to check out an instructional video after umpteenth tries. I had the strings at the front. Tq!!
Just bough some from a really cool store and I love them!! Fits and feels amazing. The trick to putting them on is to start above your belly button, but tie it loose enough to feel comfortable on your waist!

Thanks for the note, we are located rurally in Phrao about 100km North of Chiang Mai and are a distribution center, not set up for walk in sales, you are welcome to visit if you wish but it is not so practical unless you are a wholesale client. We can ship cheaply within Thailand.
Only bad thing about them is you have to re tie them every time you go to the bathroom :P

when i go sit for long time then move away i feel like i need to retie him everytime also !

The fisherman wrap pants can come off with vigorous activity, I would suggest these are not so suitable for kicks etc. The shorter capri length might be OK, the longer one less so.
Yeah thank you for showing this. I bought a pair for my brother, but we didn't know that these should be folded like you show. So we had a laugh though but know we know :-)

Thank you for this, damn the strings comes from the back! I am gonna be wearing this all summer, even though there won't be fishing. Best pants to wear when you have knee braces(due to knee injuries, easy to take on and off)
I sometimes wear mine with a belt under the fold for long securing. Really comfy trousers

Thank you for sharing your video. I had bought 4 pair of Thai fisherman pants for this next summer. They looked ideal for me because of my leg braces. I had them on backwards. It's nice to free, but covered. I want to get more linen clothes. I live in the panhandle of Florida, but it's really in the Mississippi Delta where I am from. Do you have any suggestions on clothes? Thanks for commenting, we have a lot of baggy style clothing and loose shirts etc, what specifically are you after? In addition to the style the fabric is important, we have some nice light cottons for warm weather

Yes, lots of our clients use them in yoga and Tai Chi, the one concern is the waist tie which can loosen up when moving rapidly, but you can get around that with a tightly tied waist or tight fold down of the waist
How does that style of pant fair when faced with a urinal I wonder? Is it really awkward or not so much?

I'm tall as well, and I tend to wear thai pants like capris, showing a little bit of lower leg. Seems to work nicely.
I've got a pair but they're too short. I'm only 6ft but I've not found a pair that has the length that I like. Tried many on but they're all the same length (In Australia). I guess I'll have to keep searching or go to Thailand.

Guy or girl, you mention urinal so I guess guy, it is a possible with a bit of practice, the waist is huge so I untie it then roll it down trying to catch the ties in the roll as they can be pesky, using this roll of the waist to try and hold the pants to the hips a bit and keep the bottom of the legs from hitting the floor. Not as easy as traditional pants to be sure.

How to open it to pee?
For a guy not to hard, release the ties and roll the waist down as needed, no need to slip down the legs (takes a bit of practice to store away the ties and keep the waist secured enough).
For gals more difficult, down to the knees..
Either those are huge or you are a hobbit.

The bigger the belly, the sexier they look.
They work great for big people, the inseam and legs are baggy so it gives a really solid look that draws attention away from the size of the belly, but best to get a big baggy size, we have a good range of sizes up to really big
