- Last fall I picked up the Tec 2-2 and got the mufflers put on but not the headers, also picked up the Tec 2-1 exhaust system. Trying to figure out which to go with? Let me know your thoughts

They are the factory bar end mirrors for the Speed Twin
i dont mind the gas cap honesty the way gas prices are... the locking gas cap protects against thieves!! i agree 100% that the speed twin is the best looking motorcycle on the planet. nice video!
Yeah the gas gap is just an annoyance, my bike doesn't sit outside to much to where I'm worried about gas getting stolen, would be a lot of work for 2 gallons haha
The speed twin has 3.83 gallons thats exactly 20$ worth of gas. The inflation going on i wouldn't put it past someone. wouldn't take that long people are drilling holes in tanks that could even be almost empty. i hear you though.. i just like security
@@SloMoto85 and the ppl that steal gas are doing it to multiple cars or bikes so I'm sure they would be happy even getting 2 gallons
@@bigtrees5669 yeah I get that, I work at an auto dealer and the number of gas tanks with holes drilled in them has been growing, that and cat converter thefts

LOL!!! This guy is as lazy as i am! He and i could ride togather.. i just got a Z900 rs cafe and I've got a Delkevic sitting in the box, have no real plans to put it on..
P.S. I have the same bike with x-pipe and baffles removed from factory mufflers.
This has the euro 5 regulations with the cat welded on, will have to go with the 2-2 or get headers from an older model to go the x-pipe route. I need to take the pipes out to see just how “welded” they are
With one tooth up on front sprocket I'm at 100mph at 5000rpm in 6th. gear.
The 2 into1 systems are the worst possible thing you can do to a 1200cc twin. De cat it and enjoy.
Why? With most other twin motorcycles the 2 into 1 exhausts make better horsepower on the dyno then 2 into 2 set ups. Personal experience or preference of sound?
@@beacker05 If you feel 2hp more at redline is worth the tradeoff everywhere else in the rpm range, great. These bikes are all about the tourqe, from idle to 5500rpm, where it crosses over with hp figures. Compare the numbers with 90% of the motorcycles being produced right now. HP is derived from tourqe, not the other way around. If your trying to squeeze every last hp out of a bike at wide open, go for it. I want the engine to perform as close to optimum throughout the rpm range. The factory exhaust on my bike is very well designed and with the mods I've done it's more than capable of handling anything I'll be throwing at it. Oh, yes, it's all about the sound too. Loud, poppy, sputtering bikes running on corn fuel doesn't appeal to me.
