Pan and FAB good collaboration, Chemical Guys was a surprise the sheeting effect and less water left in the panel between test, interesting 🤔 they all great products, Carbon Force pleasant surprise
My brotha Pan the Man!!!! Hey check out the ceramic coatings from systemX...alot of people have been telling me about those coatings...lokks extremely glossy...just want to see it in testing!!
Maybe doing a long term sun and weather test with the 3 same products on the same panel ? Doing the same prep on the panel and applying them in spring season, letting them face the natural weather during the whole summer...
It just occured to me...we keep mentioning road salt as one of the harshest things to touch your paint. Why don't we swap out a CLEANING PRODUCT for salt? - Mix road salt with water. HIGH concentration. - Splash it on the test panel - Wait 1 week to get it nice and crusty - Test
Wow! I'm quite shocked with the results. I can't believe how well all three held up. I'm especially surprised with the new Chemical Guys' product. I couldn't believe how well it held up after all of tests. It had great beads and also sheeted water- very impressive.
I have to admit with my right hand on my heart, I choose Adam's. I have never ever been even close to being disappointed with them, their customer service is just beyond absolutely incredible. Not only they have great products, competitively priced, but they win your heart once you experience their customer service. And all their products are made in the USA so we also encourage our brothers and sisters when we buy from them.
Thanks! It's cool that you watched the video, as no brand had a clue we were even planning on doing this! Heheh. It goes to show how far paint protection has come. And certainly the Ethos Graphene Matrix Coating is no joke. I told FAB I wanted to see the Ethos, Adam's and the new Chemical Guys compared. I had been testing the Ethos and Adam's for a while and those I already knew were excellent, but the CG was new to market and I didn't have access to it, so I thought I would join forces with my friend FAB Automotive Detailing and give his channel some cool exposure. I love helping channels to grow! :)
There are tons we could have thrown in... I just liked testing three new ones that have never been featured on my channel before. :) More videos to come. I always read the comments (as you can see) and kind of get a feel for what my viewers want to see in future videos. I always take notes. :)
Adams Graphene is the first Adams product I have used but I am pleased with it and my customers are happy with their coatings. I look forward to trying more of their products
I used the Ethos recently on 2 of my vehicles. I feel there is a slight learning curve and very short cure times with Ethos as I had a number of high spots on the first car, my wife’s! In looking back and talking to the manufacturer it seems glassparency graphene may be more forgiving, and slightly easier to apply. It be nice to see what Pan thinks and also to see a longer term test especially in crap conditions of heavy winter. Thank you.
Pan! I know you love all three products, I find it odd that you yourself don't really clarify a winner in your mind? What was YOUR favorite? Also, as most seem to have a negative view of Chemical Guy products it seems that these results were really amazing. Especially, against top tier products.. If these results bear out I feel that Chemical guys deserves more product recognition here and even a test or review by you yourself. Please let me know what you think!
What I appreciate the most, is that all these coatings are accessible to the common person. Years ago, in the 70's, 80's, and 90's, only professionals could or would have access to the "good stuff". I am in absolute detailing nirvana because of all these products, tools and information. Thanks again Pan!!
I agree with you 100% Brian! And my channel is living proof that common people also enjoy detailing their cars and they want to have access to awesome products as well. We're approaching 600,000 subscribers and millions watching on my channel. Brands see this, and they continue to push innovation to new heights, and we all benefit from this as consumers. :)
Pan it’s pretty nice and sweet that you give other youtubers your spotlight on your channel. I dont think I’ve ever seen that ever! Props to pan and thank you for introducing to fab automotivedetail!
Pan The Organizer well i have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, and in around 2019 it started to oxidize severely. It was embarrassing, as the paint just started looking bad. Luckily Toyota repainted my truck and i started watching videos to properly wash cars. I saw many videos but it was your maintenance video that i liked, and i started watching ALL your videos!

Brian sure looked like he was having the time of his life doing these tests😄😃 The products seemed to hold very well for sure👍🏼 I think keeping them from any of the elements for the 68 hours was key in the durability for sure, even though some products say you can after a couple or few hours they are still curing and getting stronger the longer you let them set. I loved this collab between Paaaan & Faaaab❤ Can't wait to see you both do another in the near future😄👍🏼👍🏼
Man I had a blast! The curing time is always important and will always help durability in the long run. It was a great collab and I’m sure we will do another in the future.
Wow didn't know what I got myself into by applying Adams graphene on my wife's 2015 jeep Renagade and my 2021 Jeep Wrangler. My detail weekend washing is going to be shorten due to the coatings I applied to both of our Jeeps. Must say this is a must for every new car that is sold. The reflexing that is gives off a true mirror image. Brian hats off to the testing every panel has its own supplies. Adams $80 bottle the least expensive out of all three to me in itself sounds like the winner for the price and the same results.
I live in Texas and used the new Ice N Seal formula. Very very cool, however, the water beading dries up very quickly with the weather. I would say it lasted about 1 to 1.5 months in this area. We usually get days arouns 90 to 100+ Fahrenheit. Our water is also heavily treated. The only thing I don't like is that the water dries very quickly so when I get out of work I see all the water spots on the car.
22:22 I think that Chemical Guys won 1st place is because the majority of gasoline and fire was on the middle of the hood. Hopefully during tests you'll apply a even coat of gas on the whole hood with a brush.
One of the most impressive testings I've ever seen. I have used all these products at 1 time or another but not a battery of tests channeled at automotive paint. Pan & Fab Fantastic video!!! 👏👏👍👍
I’m surprised , I honestly thought CG was gonna go out after the 3rd test. I’m glad you guys did this video because I was curious about the CG product . I like that’s more of a sheeting product , my car sits out 24/7 in FL hear and rains , sheeting it’s better for my conditions . I might have to give it a try.
I think all the coatings are awesome. I have experience with the Ethos Graphene and find it holds up to the worst my clients can throw at it (gravel, rocks, dirt, road sludge). I would be proud to use any of them on my clients' vehicles. Thank you for this excellent comparison test :)
There are way more factors than just chemical resistance to make a purchasing decision. Price, ease of application, chemical resistance, gloss, slickness, UV protection, real world durability, etc.
@@PanTheOrganizer: Agreed, but I am making the assumption that you two chose these three products because they excel in those factors (Chem Guys is pricey), so I choose gloss as the final factor for me. Thank you for the reply and your channel!
Great video Pan and Brian! I was impressed with the CG performance (but not the price). In future videos, can you include a before and after application of a gloss meter? This would better quantify that characteristic rather than a judgmental observation. Great work guys...Keep them coming!!
Thanks! I prefer to have a visual observation for gloss rather then numbers from a machine personally. There are aspects a machine can’t see if that makes any sense...
What I find interesting is that it appears the Coatings survived the fire, but the paint underneath didn't. Very convincing display of the potentials of Graphene coatings. Awesome vid!! Great content, to both Pan and Brian !! Well done!
Ok that was nuts!!! I have Ethos on my car and love it. Very impressed with CG Carbon Force and seen Adams tested multiple times. Also really enjoying the collaboration videos. Watching some of my favorite youtubers work together is like watching your favorite Superheroes team up.
Thanks for the positive feedback Richard! It motivates me to keep producing awesome and surprising new content! By the way, how long do you have the Ethos on your car?
@@PanTheOrganizer So far it's been on for 4 months. I do washes every two weeks on it since we hadn't had a lot of rain. Living just outside of Austin Texas. Had two oh crap moments. Hard water the first time and was very amazed on how easily it came off. Quick wash and boom, gone. Then had an issue with the wife parking under a tree of migrating birds. Car was lit up with bird poop. Poop was on the car for at least 1 hour but I was able to just rinse it off with the hose. So far 4 stars the 5 will come after I find out how long it can last. What is your go to coating? Also if you need anyone to test for feed back let me know. I would love to help out and provide. I think it really helps all of us out since there are so many products to choose from.
pan i did something abnormal as well , i ceramic coated my high polished brass zippo lighter , i got the idea from when i saw the hood on fire and it came out looking amazing wow thanx guys
....Seal n Shine for the Win! The fire test reminds me of an old commercial for a product called Dura Shine back in the early 90s. As Seen on TV kind of product. But Wait! There's More!!!
@@PanTheOrganizer well I follow a few . Been for a couple years. I've been detailing for nearly 40 years. You popped up when I searched TH-cam for detailing. Haven't missed a episode of yours. I don't follow for the products as much as for tips and tricks. Yes , you can teach a old dog new tricks . Lol . I work at a dealership and only just this spring I started my own side business. At the dealership I use malco , carbrite and advanced products. My home business I use cg , malco and tw . I love how through you are in explaining things . Clear and clean . Ty for reaching out. Keep up the good work.
Well that was interesting. There are certainly more parameters to be discussed on these three. CG was the surprise, it went the distance, and it's a sheeter. Just my opinion, could Chemicals Guys be turning over a new leaf, reinventing itself like Turtle Wax did? I think I'll believe that when to go down to two shampoos that are competitive with CP reset.

Thanks for the video! Saturday morning coffee and a show. My wife thinks I'm crazy I was thinking of trying adams graphene ceramic in the spring , 7 years is a big claim
Thanks Justin! Durability claims are to be taken more as an "indicator" of long term performance, rather than actual real world time, for many reasons, including the fact the brand can't control the conditions in which the vehicle will be. For example, it would be much easier for a garage kept, weekend driven California car to reach close to the 7 year mark, compared to a daily driven beater from Montreal, Canada with our insane winters and road salt, etc. That won't get close to the 7 years for obvious reasons. You should watch the interesting discussion I had with the head chemist of B&B Blending recently, he talks about that: th-cam.com/video/Jevs_iIrzVI/w-d-xo.html
FAB did a fantastic job ensuring all 3 were equally “tortured” and gave each an equal application. Excellent side-by-side-by-side! Great to see how each were applied and how they performed. Thanks PAN!
Thanks! I like to be very methodical in the way I test things, so I made sure Brian was on the same page as me. We don't do things half assed on the Paaaaaaaaan TheOrganizer channel! He's a great friend and it was awesome to have him come on as a special guest! Plus I was surprised with the results!
Thanks brother! Like Pan said he is methodical and knows exactly how he wants things done. I did my best to remember how I was suppose to do it and added a few surprises at the end. I’m just glad he ended up liking it!
Heheh thanks Moises! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I like to come up with new crazy stuff every now and then. Keep my audience guessing what I'll do next. :)
I'm super impressed with the Carbon Force with all that significant sheeting, less chances for water-spotting! I used Adam's Graphene Coating and am VERY happy with it so far!
Hello Pan!! I wish you are very well. I ask for your collaboration with the following question. I want to apply two layers of Adams's Graphene Coating on my car, how long should I wait after applying those two layers to apply 303 GRAPHENE NANO SPRAY COATING as a topper for my coating? Thank you so much
They are all pretty similar for gloss. I haven't tested the Chemical Guys one personally, but the Ethos and Adam's are very similar in the gloss department.
It depends on what your preferences are. Some people love the beading, some love sheeting. If you live in an area with hard water issues, you might want a product that sheets as it will prevent water spotting from happening. Water beads are super cool, but when they bake in the sun, they can leave mineral deposits if you have hard water, and those can eventually etch through the clear coat. So a product that sheets water will help prevent that more.
I new client booked an appointment with us for a coating. He wanted the Adams coating because his friend had his truck done using Adams and he liked it. I'll try and make a video of us installing it. Thanks Pan and Brian. 👊👊
I'd say they're all fairly equal for gloss. If you want a coating with higher gloss, you'd have to go to a prosumer/pro brand like Gyeon, and get their Gyeon Pure EVO coating, which is known for its insane gloss. Adams Graphene seems to be the winner here! I switched from Adams to CG a year ago since I was not impressed by how long their waxes , sealant etc lasted on my car. Took me 2 days to do the whole car and after a month (2x on the touchless carwash) the beading was gone! I’m surprised the Adams Graphene beads a lot till the end…

@@PanTheOrganizer You had me from Turtle wax video you made a couple of years back…🤣 Appreciate all the content you make for us rookies! Can you do undercarriage rust protection? So far I use LPS3 , Fluid film and new PB blaster undercarriage rust protection.

That is a great question William! And it will be answered soon, as I get a brand new car every three years, and I'm due for my new ride in spring of 2021. So in a few months, you guys will find out what insane vehicle I'm buying! It will be an epic reveal for sure.

I live in the Phoenix area and the sun is a problem so I would really like to coat it with something!! Thanks for your time!!
G'day Pan, the torture test was good, with the last test being fire. But Brian mentioned one product during the test that is very corrosive but was never used in the 'torture test'- Brake Fluid. Brake fluid is easily accidentally spilt on paint work whenever filling the brake reservoir. So in the next line of tests, can brake fluid be used to see if the graphene coating repels or the coating is weakened or destroyed. Brian almost talked as fast as us Aussies. Ozzy
Hehehe I think these tests are becoming ridiculous don't you think? Heck we're throwing brake parts cleaners, carburetor cleaners and lighting them on fire! That's WAAAAAAY beyond what anyone should need. They're to the point where we know they are chemically resistant. I don't need further proof in that department. I see these tests more for entertainment value. If somebody needs to also see brake fluid or any other form of chemical use above and beyond everything that was already shown here, then they aren't ready to purchase any coating... My opinion. Plus, I'm a firm believer that chemical resistance is actually only a small part of the many factors that should play a role in making a purchase decision for a coating over another... These tests are by no means the be all and end all of selection. ;) Have a good day mate! As usual, thanks for watching!
@@PanTheOrganizer I agree with you that some tests are beyond everyday conditions. I've been following Chicago Auto Pro with their testing on a daily drive vehicle that has had around 24 different types of coatings, waxes and polishes applied. The vehicle is washed every 2 weeks and the coatings assessed. Some of the products didn't even get passed the first wash after 2 weeks. This kind of testing is probably more beneficial on how well these coatings perform and last, under day to day driving conditions. Having Opti-Coat Pro+ applied to my vehicle almost 2 years ago, I know that I won't be applying any new coatings such as graphene for around another 5 years. But the products that can be used as toppers for a ceramic coating would be more beneficial to me at this time. Cheers.
I do my own thing. Hopefully you have noticed that I like to be a leader and bring fresh new content and varied types of videos. I don't like "following" or copying. ;)

Pan the organizer I have an electric pressure washer AR blue clean 2000 Max psi 1.4 GPM I have the pf22.2 foam cannon with the regular orfice it comes inside of it how many ounces of soap do I need to put to make good foam ?????
The dilution ratio varies from one setup to another based on many factors. You need to find the appropriate dilution ratio for you. A good starting point is 3-4 oz of snow foam with 16 oz of water.
Pan The Organizer I am getting my truck professionally repainted how long should I wait before coating it when I get it home I want to make sure I protect it as much as possible.
Wow what an amazing video. I was not expecting chemical guys to perform as well as it did. Which coating was the glossiest or showed the most depth? How hard are these coatings to remove when they finally do fail?
I am not a chemical guys guy and I certainly would not pay 50 more then adams. I have applied adams to several cars last summer. I am looking forward to doing the maintenance washes as they are daily drivers in PA winters
Unbelievable!! Awesome work!! So these coatings are durable enough where we could clay and paint prep wipe down and apply a topper or extra protection like the TW Flex? If not clay, then at least a paint prep wipe down and some extra protection? - without harming the base graphene coating.
You would never clay a coating. To add a topper like Flex Wax, you just need to wash the ceramic coated car, dry it, and apply the foundation coat of Flex Wax directly on top of the existing ceramic coating. It’s that simple.
looking at the brake cleaner and other harsher test, i would love to see what would happen say brake fluid was left over night or extended dwell time on these harsher testing
Thank you Pan and Brian for the testing and evaluation of these products. I was surprised also by the sheeting capability of the CG Carbon Force. Great collaboration gents.
Hi Pan , Great video and great comparative test! If you had to compare them to one of your favorite , GlassParency , would you say that GP Graphene coating is equivalent or superior ?
Thanks Claude! As far as chemical resistance, the GlassParency also behaves equally in my testing. I just don't know about the fire resistance though hahaha.
I used the chemical guys product and my environment was nearly identical and I also noticed it was hard to tell when it flashed. So I just waited on the longer end of the recommended wait time to wipe off.

Thank you.

Also, as most seem to have a negative view of Chemical Guy products it seems that these results were really amazing. Especially, against top tier products.. If these results bear out I feel that Chemical guys deserves more product recognition here and even a test or review by you yourself. Please let me know what you think!
All three were amazing. The new Chemical Guys coating was over the top. It was like it eas almost dry as soon as anything went on it. Amazing.
Thanks for watching Tim!
Wow chemical guys was impressive. This video just sold me. I wasn't sure about it but thanks for testing this new product
Glad it was helpful!
Since they all are fairly equal, price will be the deciding factor for me. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Carl!
I would love to see water spotting torture test. Get some really hard nasty water and let dry in direct sunlight or even intense uv lights
Pan it’s pretty nice and sweet that you give other youtubers your spotlight on your channel. I dont think I’ve ever seen that ever! Props to pan and thank you for introducing to fab automotivedetail!
Thanks Jimmy! I appreciate it. How did you discover my channel by the way?
Pan The Organizer well i have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma, and in around 2019 it started to oxidize severely. It was embarrassing, as the paint just started looking bad. Luckily Toyota repainted my truck and i started watching videos to properly wash cars. I saw many videos but it was your maintenance video that i liked, and i started watching ALL your videos!
The water sheeting of the chemical guys carbon was insane.
Thanks for watching! How did you discover my channel?
Any idea when the Chemical Guys will be for sale in Canada?
Watching car detailing video on TH-cam, your video popped up and I've been a subscriber ever since then, for close to a year or so.
Chemical Guys... I like the sheeting better than the beading... still going to stick with Turtle Wax..
Thanks for watching Marty! Have a great weekend.
I just bought the chemical guys ceramic coating and haven't applied it yet. Now I'm watching this video and by the looks of it I made a right choice 😊

Thanks!
Thanks for sharing John.
Great Video. I’d like to see some gloss and slickness testing. All these products are within weeks of lasting the same.
Great idea!
Thanks for sharing!
@@PanTheOrganizer hey pan, what would you recommend to apply on top of the seal n shine? For gloss
22:22
I think that Chemical Guys won 1st place is because the majority of gasoline and fire was on the middle of the hood.
Hopefully during tests you'll apply a even coat of gas on the whole hood with a brush.
One of the most impressive testings I've ever seen. I have used all these products at 1 time or another but not a battery of tests channeled at automotive paint. Pan & Fab
Fantastic video!!! 👏👏👍👍
Thanks for the positive feedback! Who was your winner in the test?
@@PanTheOrganizer They were all very close but in my opinion the Adams coating came out on top.
Let’s add the new turtle wax graphene product in the next test!
Hell yes that's what I'm talking about
Add the jax wax graphene coating as well
I’m surprised , I honestly thought CG was gonna go out after the 3rd test. I’m glad you guys did this video because I was curious about the CG product .
I like that’s more of a sheeting product , my car sits out 24/7 in FL hear and rains , sheeting it’s better for my conditions . I might have to give it a try.
You and I both Alfonso! I was also surprised by the results!
I think all the coatings are awesome. I have experience with the Ethos Graphene and find it holds up to the worst my clients can throw at it (gravel, rocks, dirt, road sludge). I would be proud to use any of them on my clients' vehicles. Thank you for this excellent comparison test :)
Thanks for the positive feedback Brian!
I also used the Ethos on a few cars... Fantastic results.
Just bought the Adams graphine kit with the light to try next weekend. This solidified my decision so thanks!
Thanks for watching Cole!
FAB is our next guest on my livestream.... what a paaaaaaaaantastic collaboration
I wish I could be there for the livestream! If only it was another day... :(. But you guys will have fun for sure!
IMO... If sheeting is the main objective, Chemical Guys was the clear winner, but all three do the job. Therefore gloss would be my decision-maker.
7 year protection? Damn, I like waxing my car regularly, just because I like doing it!
Its slavery with current products

I’m a big Chemical Guys fan, but they all performed well
Great video Pan and Brian!
Well done!
Thanks Scott!
The fuel not totally burnt off is what caused the water to bead not the coatings

The fire test reminds me of an old commercial for a product called Dura Shine back in the early 90s. As Seen on TV kind of product.

Chemical Guys was the winner for me with it's Crazy Water Sheeting‼️👀🤟😁✌
Contains no Graphene.

Chemical Guys Carbon Force but at twice the cost ?
That was my thought. Half the product and twice the price?
Thanks for the video! Saturday morning coffee and a show. My wife thinks I'm crazy
I was thinking of trying adams graphene ceramic in the spring , 7 years is a big claim
The chemical guys looked like it was easy to use. I want to put one on my new car but I’m nervous 😆
Now you know how easy all three were to apply. And you know how to apply them thanks to this video. :)
Chemical guys seems to be doing the best sheeting water.

FAB did a fantastic job ensuring all 3 were equally “tortured” and gave each an equal application. Excellent side-by-side-by-side! Great to see how each were applied and how they performed. Thanks PAN!

So far I thought the Adams "looked' the best but Chemical Guys seems to be 'working' the best.
Same here. Water beads stayed tight beginning to end.
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Hello Pan!!
I wish you are very well.
I ask for your collaboration with the following question.
I want to apply two layers of Adams's Graphene Coating on my car, how long should I wait after applying those two layers to apply 303 GRAPHENE NANO SPRAY COATING as a topper for my coating?
Thank you so much
Hello pan from fab family
Thanks for watching!
Hello there!
Which one do you recommend? Which one had the best shine ??
They are all pretty similar for gloss. I haven't tested the Chemical Guys one personally, but the Ethos and Adam's are very similar in the gloss department.
What is your preference Pan, sheeting or beading? Feels like Chemical guys wins , less water the better?
It depends on what your preferences are. Some people love the beading, some love sheeting. If you live in an area with hard water issues, you might want a product that sheets as it will prevent water spotting from happening. Water beads are super cool, but when they bake in the sun, they can leave mineral deposits if you have hard water, and those can eventually etch through the clear coat. So a product that sheets water will help prevent that more.
Pan can you do a full review of the Adam’s Graphene Ceramic coating from the bottle? Thanks enjoy your videos. I learn a lot from you
I new client booked an appointment with us for a coating. He wanted the Adams coating because his friend had his truck done using Adams and he liked it.
I'll try and make a video of us installing it.
Thanks Pan and Brian. 👊👊
Thanks for watching!
i enjoy the protection factor but which one provided the best gloss?
I'd say they're all fairly equal for gloss. If you want a coating with higher gloss, you'd have to go to a prosumer/pro brand like Gyeon, and get their Gyeon Pure EVO coating, which is known for its insane gloss. I speak about it in this video: th-cam.com/video/w_dpnJH_Mz0/w-d-xo.html

Adams Graphene seems to be the winner here! I switched from Adams to CG a year ago since I was not impressed by how long their waxes , sealant etc lasted on my car. Took me 2 days to do the whole car and after a month (2x on the touchless carwash) the beading was gone!

How much to detailers usually charge for doing these coatings with no paint correction needed? So just a wash and paint prep for the coating
These tests are by no means the be all and end all of selection. ;)
Have a good day mate!
Cheers.
I agree :)
Just ceramic coated my truck with Adams Graphene. Would I benefit by top coating with Carpro Gliss?
Yes. Just wait a week before washing your car and starting to apply other top coats.

Wow what an amazing video. I was not expecting chemical guys to perform as well as it did. Which coating was the glossiest or showed the most depth? How hard are these coatings to remove when they finally do fail?
Thanks Neil! The only way to remove coatings 100% is by machine polishing.
I have never removed a graphene coating. I wonder if machine polishing will remove the coating or do I have to wet sand to remove the coating.
